I looks like Adyn has a base CFO3 ROM that may work better since I have newbie customized my phone a lot thus far. Not sure if its appropriate to mention his ROM on this forum. You should be able to use the serial number supplied with your earlier purchase.

I like what I see so far, so will probably end up purchasing it! Anybody know how long I have before it starts prompting me to register? I want to evaluate it a little longer before I decide. (plus, I won't have the money for it for a couple weeks... I know, it's just $30, but I'm in a slight financial crunch right now... ;)

You may already be aware of this but the reason the pics won't resize for MMS is due to the fact that it uses the Samsung Media Album exe to do this. If you add that back it works just fine at least it does for my Omnia. Here is the cab if anyone else wants to try. Now if only we could conjure up some black buttons for media album.....but that's my OCD shining through. I tried this cab and I am still unable to send pics as mms?

Install the cab and the from your start menu, launch media album. I actually opened a picture but I am unsure if just opening the app will do or you need to open the picture. After that you should be able to send am MMS from the camera app and it will resixe just fine.

I can't remember the last time I sent a pic via mms Thank you, It would not work for me either until I : Opened media album from the start menu. Opened a pic. (see video attached) From there you can close media ablum and then you can snap a picture and send it. Let me know if that gets it.Video01.zip

You will just use your registration code after you flash. Right now I have BW MS3 1.1 ROM on. 2 days ago I have Adrynalyne's base with MS3 installed over. With Ad's ROM, you can install exactly what you want. He has completely stripped that rom of everything. It doesn't even have Opera in it. Two advantages of BW ROM is the XDA_UC feature. I love it. It saves so much time for those of us who flash a lot. The other is that the OEM version of MS3 that he is using allows the HTC taskbar to work. I have not gotten it to work with any other ROM and MS3 combination. I don't know why that is, but I like that feature as well. Thats just my take.

I am able to enter the task manager and stop the ContentManager.exe porcess and then send a pic from the camera app. It calls the exe and it loads back up. If you want to have a black media album to match the theme take this file and copy over the ContentManager.exe in the windows directory with the one in the zip. You will need Resco explorer or Total Commander to make that happen. The file will be marked as hidden after being copied to your device so you will need to set the options on whatever file browser you are using to show hidden files.contenetmanager.zip Edited July 21, 2009 by BrianPick

It works in Titanium fine but disappears when I start MS3.01. Sounds like BW is the way to go. Thanks again.

Neither of the Pro Widget downloads worked for me and I kept losing my two tabs so I uninstalled each one after trying them separately. I wanted to use Taskbar Elite but I am afraid of losing that all-to-cool HTC Task Manager tab in MS3.01. Does anyone see a problem installing Taskbar Elite and not messing with the HTC Task Manager showing up on MS3 Lifestyle page? I also cannot see any programs that are saved to My Storage on any menus. I can run them when I click the icon through File Explorer but they do not show up anywhere. Do I need to fully reinstall them again? They did not disappear after doing the CF03 full upgrade through Verizon site. I expected they would have disappeared. Edited July 21, 2009 by rndchef

When you install a "pro widgets" cab for MS3, it does delete the two icons at the bottom, but unlocks the bottom portion of the screen so you can put anything you want on the bottom and fits 3 icons across. Enclosed here is one of my seven lifestyle pages. As you can see I have put the launcher, contacts, and pocketshield on the bottom.

I have flashed and re-flashed my phone with the MS3 ROM and everytime get a TINY little onscreen keyboard. I re-ran the official update from Verizon and get the default Samsung keyboard, which I like, but as soon as I load the MS3 ROM I get the tiny little old school default windows keyboard. How to I correct this? My engineer brain is overthinking it again I can tell. :| I will download the M2D ROM later, 4shared is blocked at work. Thanks in advance!

I see one in the screenshot and assume its the basic single city that comes with the MS3.01 which is kind of useless. I have tried SPB Weather and it wasn't worth the money since it would not update itself consistently. No there isn't. I'm looking at a new widget that storyr has created to work with Weather Panel. Not sure if I will include it or not but it gives you the current weather and links to Weather Panel.

My company enforces 15 minute idle lock when I'm sync'd to our exchange server. Ne ways, I use a simple numeric code to unlock my phone. When I slide to unlock and the virtual numerical keypad pops up, I tap the buttons, eveything works, but the text field isn't populated with "******" when I hit the buttons. It's hard to tell if I've hit the button or not, ya know? It's not a big deal since it still works, I just have to assume I've hit them correctly. It's a little dangerous, if I miss my code 10 times my phone gets scorched (remote hard reset) ("my storage" included). Thanks for the awesome rom, I've loving it. Regards, Twiz Is this with a company provided lock or the standard WM6.5 lock screen? I have tested the lock screen before and not seen this issue.
Guest blazingwolf Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Two things. 1: Any thoughts on implementing that new HTC Wifi program they are talking about on the news screen? 2: A while back I found a regedit to make the screen more responsive, it was changing a value from like 700 to 100 and there was another one for the scrolling that made it respond much faster. Have you seen this? Any thoughts on changing that by default to a lower response time? If not, how EXACTLY (I am new to this stuff still) do I save the reg edit in the XDA_UC folder if/when I find it again so I dont ahve to edit it every time? Thanks 1. I've looked at it and right now it is VGA only. Unless someone can port it I'm not sure that it will happen. We will have to wait and see. 2. Are you having issues? I've made reg edits to make the screen responsive so I'm not sure why your looking to mess with it. Besides, response time can't be any lower than 0.

I will think about it if it actually fixes the issue and works.
