BW, Not sure what is happening.... but I did a hard reset for other reasons and when I tried to do the initial programming it keeps failing. I ended up having to re-flash to the official CFO3 and do the programming. Do you think this is an isolated incident on my phone?

My phone is still reverting back to the small keyboard which is a bit annoying. I tried IM Selector, soft reset and today the small keyboard is back. I noticed my IM Selector file is empty. Once I go into a program and change it to KT9 it stays until I soft reset, which happens a bit. Is there a permanent solution to this?

I'm not a big commenter on here but just had to post and say how much I love your work BW. I had the original MS3 cooked rom and loved it. Wandered to a different rom for less then a week and once I found the this new rom with MS3 I had to switch. With all these roms and customization I really don't see me getting a new phone untill this one becomes obsolete (which in technology terms was already out of date by the time it his the shelf).

No more rambling...love your work love the rom works flawless. :)

Hey BW, I lost the LAUNCHER and CONTACTS from the Today screen...on the bottom when I tried to Edit the Layout. Could you tell me how to get them back there...? Also, how did you get yours to have Today on there as well?

Launcher and Contact disappear when you install the mSkip Pro Widgets. You can then add them back or any ones you want to that space by Adding Widget, pick the widget you want and use the small version of it. I have Launcher, psShutXP and Contact there. Very cool customizing. I am not sure I need Launcher anymore with all the Lifestyle pages.

Hey BW, thanks for the update on 1.2. I did find one thing, when trying to access the setting for SYSTEM and PERSONAL, there doesn't seem to be any icons. This only happens through MS3...the setting are in their normal places on the main menu.

Try going in to Easy Settings and then All Settings. OK back out and see if they are there. If not then soft reset. This is a MS3 issue.

I had this issue twice using different roms and different versions. When re-starting did not work I just did a hard reset and reset MY STORAGE. I reloaded everything and it worked great.

BW.. Loving the MS3 Rom!!!!! Please keep them coming. I get the itch and you deliver. I can't handle going thru flash withdrawl. Please keep my addiction alive.

BW, Love ver 1.2 but I am unable to update/program the phone using *228 opt 1 or 2 It's not an issue for me at the moment but I like to update the phone once a week.

Just uninstall the cab through the remove programs file and soft reset.

I have only had a smart phone for a month now... but I flashed it the same day I bought it. I love this stuff. Have you ever thought about posting a base rom?

My quick ramble: I love your roms, I have tried atleast 20 builds in the last month between the cooks. I really want to jump the Adryn ship. No offense to him he has done great things for many many people. His roms are good and his kitchen makes much possible? But his forums are beasts. I have had alot to learn in the last month because I never had a smart phone before. Adryn's forum is not the place to ask noob question without being drilled. I am quite capable of googling, but sometimes it is easy to search when you already know the answer and how to ask the question... but almost impossible when you don't know the terms.

Also, did I offend a few posts back when I asked my questions "about base, rom size, and transperencies". I saw you answered some other questions after mine. I don't mean to poach your forum. I just thought to ask here because you are usually the guy I see on the forums answering questions noobs like me ask. I want to eventually cook my own roms, but right now I can barely regedit. I will need to walk before running.

I can't seem to get a GPS lock...I remember seeing someone say how they got it to work, but can't remember where...? I went to phone settings and turned location on, just like the other BW ROM, but now it can't find any sats...

@Everyone,

I will be starting work again tomorrow. I work 24 hour shifts, so on the days that I work I will be off the net quite a bit so don't be surprised if answers to your questions take me a day or two to answer.

I will do my best to have a release of ROMs tonight so that the bugs that exist should be taken care of. I will then not release anything until at least next week.

We all have really appreciated you time here so far. I think I remember reading in your R&R thread that you were out performing some sort of PT?. Hope all that ails you is improving more quickly now that you're getting back to work - welcome back to the rat race. lol

2 quick questions:

How can I change the missed call log to display time received instead of call duration which is always 00:00?

Do you possibly have the original Titanium_240x400.cpr file for comparison sake? I'm hoping to take a look at a few things, then move on to tinkering in the 400x240 file

Yup, I've been flamed on and off on the ppcgeeks forum (Adrynalyne's thread). I just ignore it. If you're curious, check out the forum on samsung-omnia.org cuz Adrynalyne has several threads there (incl one for the new cf03 cooked roms) and they're not as intimidating. I go to both of them, as well as BW's threads on Modaco. I also like the XDA-Developers forum. Lots to learn & I need all the help I can get!

1. I have but just these two keep me pretty busy each time a new build comes out. Plus, I'm back to work now so have less time.

2. Everyone is a noob at some point in time including me. I try to remember that though even I can get frustrated when the question as been asked several times in the same thread. Most times reading things is the best way to learn. A lot of people will say "I didn't want to read 30 pages so". Doesn't matter that there is a ton of info that can be gleaned from that reading. Heck, I still read 30 page or more threads from beginning to end so I can learn things. Even with that I try hard to be nice to people though I don't always succeed.

3. I don't remember that question but I probably just missed it. Repost it though I might not be able to answer until tomorrow.

So, I'm a little confused. I just flashed the CF03 rom so I could have the next exciting installment of BW's rom and...windows mobile 6.1? Uh, why are we all so excited about going back to 6.1? What am I missing? What is the trade off that makes 6.1 prefferable to the CC20 roms we were using before with 6.5? Is it just gps cuz I thought we already had that? Can someone please explain cuz I don't wanna go back to CC20 if there's a great pay-off here that I'm missing. Anybody have any pro's to this big verizon con? (pun intended)

I ruptured a disk in my back. Still have issues but I needed to get back to work so I'm working around it for now. Hopefully I won't hurt myself worse now that I am back to work but with my job you never know.

1. Umm, not sure. Are you on v1.2? I was looking at the call log on mine and it shows duration and time but that is for the calls I answered. I don't have any missed calls yet to look.

I just updated to the 1.2 MS3 build and when in portrait mode, the start menu background is now some sort of brushed metal looking thing, whereas before it was the same as my "desktop" wallpaper. Landscape mode is unaffected and is the same as my desktop wallpaper. Is this an intentional change or is mine just glitchy? Either way is there an easy way to change this rather than reflashing? Thanks.
