Other than welcome back? No, but I didn't expect any either so I'm not disappointed.

Im using Shokka9_XT9_Glossblack_v1.1 Keyboard.

The problem is, when I try to type something into Google Maps nothing happens. Seems to only be a problem with GMs. It works fine with original keyboard

I have reinstalled GM, did a Soft reset but no go.

I like Shokka9 KB because I can type faster and more accurately.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I had the same problem. I had to revert back to the original keyboard while in Google Maps.

This is a known issue with these keyboards. No one has found a fix yet.

XDA_UC is cooked in to the ROM. You know need to make a XDA_UC folder and place it in your Storage card. Please see the first post for more information.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I thought I would find the base folder already there in Storage. Will it save my custom MS3.01 widget layout on the Lifestyle pages and Favorite Contacts? That seems to be a lot of the work to get it just right.

Its not a theme and SPB is cooking into the ROM so it would appear doubtful that it can.

I learned yesterday that there are no existing files or programs for this, it is imbedded in the ROM. Read Page 1 has the details. You need to create and name the files on My Storage that will auto load when reflashing updated ROMs.

I've seen a few ppl having trouble with lock screen not display notifications sms, missed calls, etc. Mine is doing the same thing. Has a fix been found and I've just overlooked it or is this still a known issue?

Thanks

I haven't seen that - but on mine with the screen locked, I get the message number to show up on the screen lock button. Occasionally I've tapped that button to see what type of message and the number goes away and not other slide buttons pop up. It might just be the sensitivity that if you don't hit the main lock button just right - it thinks you've dismissed it. If that's true - it could be that subtle screen hits cause the notification not to display??

Create files on 'Storage Card' as instructed in first post

I don't think that is it I'm not getting any indication on the slider either. I used to get the indication on the slider when I was using Rock and Rep Rom. Currently the only indication on the lock screen I see is up on the task bar a small notification icon but nothing on the screen itself or the slider.

Also I'm using MS3 Version with Lisbian's Taskbar. I tried removing taskbar to see if that was an isssue, but nothing changed.

In my XDA_UC folder I have sdkcerts, bluetoothiconbroker, Fingerkeyboard, Lisbians_Cubic_Blue, Facebook, Googlemaps, and wmtorrent3pro. After flash the only other thing I do is run Pimbackkup.

I can't force an install of the folder to your storage card right now. I probably could but it might make people mad and I wouldn't want that. Plus all of your items need to be there already or they won't load.

What file is the MS3 settings being saved in? Is it something that can be moved to a specific folder and then it would work on a soft reset. That should be doable with the right scripting.

Check the first post for basic info and the linked thread for more in depth info on using XDA_UC. :)

I'm beginning to think that some of these issues are because of MS3. However, there are problems with the lockscreen I have not been able to fix yet like disappearing notifications (this might be by design as it happens in the lockscreen and the notification panel). I'm trying to figure it out but have not been able to so far.

This is where I don't get it. I have only two files in my SPB Mobile Shell Folder - large-my-wallpaper & qa_battery_plus_medium. Previously I had the whole sleu of files like when you add it outside of the ROM. There is nothing hidden.

Would it save a file capturing where I put all the icons on Lifestyle Page and where would it save it if it is not in the SPB Mobile Shell Folder? Sorry about all the questions. Not a big deal since I am all flashed out for awhile. Yeah that's it!

Great. :) Maybe the new SYS and XIP fixed it.

That's because on my ROM all of the MS3 files are in the Windows folder.

Honestly, I don't know. I'm not that knowledgeable about MS3.

CNitrogen was just created by oldSAP. It is a panel for the Nitrogen media player by microfi.

The player can be downloaded from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3914093

I have modded it to fit the Neo theme. :) This is the first generation of this panel so it doesn't have a bunch of features yet.

The original panel can be downloaded from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540523

Nitrogen must be installed to device memory for this to work correctly. Hopefully that will change later.

Does anyone know how to change the alert tones. I could have sworn you used to be able to use mp3s or whatever custom ring tones you wanted for such things as text message alerts and so on. This rom will only let me choose from a small list of alarms but none of my ringtones are selectable. Is that exclusive to this rom or is it just how the omnia works and there's no way to use your own tones for anything other than just ringtones. Dissappointing if that is the case. :)

So, i figured out my email thing. I was the one having issues connecting to exchange for those of you just joining the program. For some stupid A reason, I have to have Outlook actually running in order for my phone to recognize emails. It only picks up new ones at that. Something with CF03 ruined that for me, but at least if I just lock my comp before leaving, it works ok.
