Guest blazingwolf Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Once again thanks for all your hard work! I just did a pim backup going from 6.1 to 6.5 because I figured the changes would be to numerous. but, I'm wondering if an SPB backup/restore from your 1.2 to your 1.3 version will work ok since they are both 6.5? I finally just got everything re-registered and set back up the way I like it. Also, to answer the above poster, I haven't had any lag at all that I've noticed since I flashed. Thanks No, unfortunately that won't be a good idea. I have made registry changes and if you do a full backup and restore it you will remove those. Sorry.
Guest thetwiztidfreak Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Did a couple soft resets and problem with the lag seemed to go away great rom Wolf thx!
Guest blazingwolf Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) Updated first post with a new ROM version. :) Added: Updated XIP and SYS to 23016 Neo theme now in landscape. Thanks jagnfly. ;) Windows Live panel ported to Neo. Showcase Task Manager - Finger friendly task manager. Topaz Comm Manager - Simple Comm Manager that gives you the ability to connect or disconnect the data connection as well as other connections. Touch Response - Vibrates on touch of the screen so you know that you touched it. More bugs fixed Removed: HTC Task Manager Please give it a try and let me know what you think. ;) MS3 version is still being worked on. A couple more bugs to work out before I can release it. Guest Lisbian08 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Yeah, seems to work very well. ;) Touchresponse, a blast from the past. I haven't used it in 2 or 3 months.....and I can't remember why.... :)

Guest jagnfly Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 I see 2 settings in the 240X400.cpr file that I corrected but never mentioned to you. In CLauncher and Notifications, the horizontal text box line is thicker than all the others. Included screenshots for comparison, shows up better full size, but not as evident as it is on the phone. Here's the file with those 2 textbox image Height corrections (89 instead of 91). Sorry it wasn't prior to this release. Titanium_240x400.zip V1.3 Smooth and stable so far and loving it. My friend got back to me and said "This ROM totally rocks. Thanks so much!"
Guest escenkay Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Nice rom~ I was using Wozzer's this whole time and thought I'd flash to try out all the new features. All in all it seems like a very rom. The only issue I seem to be having is adding new contacts through the contacts softkey. I can do this through the 'phonebook' but not contacts. Any fix for this? Has this been discussed before? I just didn't feel like reading through 33 pages~ Other than that awesome rom~
Guest reaver76 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Hey BW! Phenomenal Job!!! I can not wait til you update MS3 to V1.3. V1.2 is great, My wife will be getting an omnia when her contract ends soon. I can't wait to start flashing her phone with your latest and greatest. Thanks for all the hard work. I don't know if you realize how much it's appreciated! I was looking at the "how to" on creating roms. I think I may give it a try so I can contribute. Thanks again!!

If you are using version 1.2 then it is a known issue and should be fixed in version 1.3.

Guest reaver76 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 @Everyone, Would you like to see Google Maps in the next version? Its easy enough to install the cab.

Guest Majorair32 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 When will this be CF03 based It is already CF03 based it is just not updated to ver 1.3 yet.
Guest jagnfly Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Its easy enough to install the cab. I use Google Maps all the time, but I install it to my storage card. Including it in the ROM would force it to device memory??? Using the XDA_UC setup makes including it or excluding it simple - not to mention nothing gets wiped on the storage card during a flash so all my settings that get stored in the program file remain intact.

Yes, it would be in device memory. I'm thinking of replacing Bing since it isn't working so hot and putting Google Maps 3.2 in.

Even if you don't install google maps (which i think you should) you should remove bing. Like you said it doesn't work well...especially with the GPS. Once in a blue moon I can connect with bing...with google I connect right away. On another note...I'm finally going to our beach house in the obx tomorrow with some family. My cousin has an Omnia but like me barely has any time. He has yet to flash anything :) . So I will definitely be helping him flash to 1.3 this weekend when I take the time to get up-to-date with BW's latest ;) . Edited July 31, 2009 by xpilesx

Guest Majorair32 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 That might have to do with the registry changes I forgot to make. I put them in 1.3 so let me know if it works once I release it. Hey wolf I loaded 1.3 and the Phone ringer profiles work again. 1.3 is sweet cant wait for ms3 version although im kinda likeing the ms3 and winmo home screen's although the colors in ms3 are stuck on blue with the normal cab install hmmm... The mskip widget fix the color issue on most screens but some like weather and contacts are still blue. Kinda weird. I might just wait till you get the ms3 ver out and try that.
