I think I pretty much bricked my phone...called verizon and they're sending me another 'cause the new one they just sent me was to fix a worn out

touch screen. It was working with a previous version of your mod before CF03 came out. Anyhow...more stupid questions: when I get my replacement, should I first burn it with the cc20 rom, then the cf03, then finally your slicker than s*** work of art?

To get back to my ROM just flash the CF03 ROM and then mine and you will be all set. :)

these new programs qik, jblend, and things like that show a LOT of promise if they work as well as stated. I haven't been on in a couple days and I was astounded at the 4 page increase lol, but seriously Blaze your judgement seems best when it comes to this stuff because of all the other roms I've used yours always works best and its like when you go to the meat market, are you going to go with a recommendation on a piece of steak from some dude named joe, or the butcher who has been helping you out from day 1.

I can understand wanting to install your own apps and things like that, but if they really wanted to then they just have to uninstall and install and make your program their own. Just like when we bought this phone we had to work to get them updated and what not to suit our wants/needs.

You're an awesome guy and a really cool cat to boot. I know everyone says thanks and everything and its because you're totally awesome.

oh yea lol, MS3 has always been my fave :) so I'm anxiously waiting for your update and I think it would be funny if we had a cooler update than the titanium version >.> but thats just me :angry: lol >.<

So I found a bug in the new 1.3 version. Touch Response breaks FTouchSL. I didn't notice earlier because I use Resco Explorer. So, I guess I will remove Touch Response so that FTouchSL will work.

I updated from 1.2 to 1.3 this morning, and received a couple of errors that I didn't get with 1.2. To be fair, my XDA_UC cabs are slightly different this time (although I think slightly less intensive). The first error I got was for Showcase_X, before the automatic reboot. The second error I got was for Cook, immediately after the reboot. I then did a hard reset to see if the errors repeated, and they did not (it was clean). Everything seems to be okay now, but why the errors?

***EDIT: Actually, none of my XDA_UC cabs seem to have loaded either. I'll have to check over in that thread to see if I did something wrong.

I have had a couple of errors myself and I am looking in to it. I have never had an issue with cabs installing though. What are you installing?

Sometimes when that happens a soft reset will allow you to finish removing the program. Since you have removed stuff on your own now it probably won't help. For the errors, it sounds like something might be in the Startup folder. Look for a link to the program to help get rid of the errors.

If you still have problems then just do a hard reset. No reason to reflash.

If I Hard Reset, will it restore the device back to the original flashed version? And will My Storage programs be disconnected again like when I flashed and need to be reformatted again and reloaded? Should I setup XDA_UC first before Hard Resetting or is this only for Flashing? Sorry for all the Newbie questions but my Device is not workin so well. I see MS3 v3 mentioned and I might as well wait for that if its soon. Is it soon? :)

Touch Response has not been added to the MS3 ROM yet.

Did you have WeatherPanel set to auto update? It will establish a connection.

BW, Are you getting WPaRefresh.exe errors when you Soft Reset with this Progam?

A hard reset will take you back to the base ROM. So if you installed my ROM then it will be as I designed it. The items you have in My Storage will still be there but any shrotcuts or registry settings will be gone.

Yes, set up XDA_UC before the hard reset. XDA_UC will start after the hard reset and install your programs.

If your having problems with your device then go ahead and hard reset and v1.3 of the MS3 ROM is not ready yet.

When I tried it yes. So it won't make it in to the ROM.

I have had a couple of errors myself and I am looking in to it. I have never had an issue with cabs installing though. What are you installing?

Well, you can remove the sdkcerts. It's built in to the ROM. Yes, the cabs tend to go by alphabetical order. So switch the order and see what happens.

I use the spb fullscreen keyboard on blazingwolfs recommendation and really like it. The CTR+ C or V function is greatly needed. spb KB is not free though, but its worth it when I divide the cost with my 7 buddies (most paid programs are).

I have got to stop reading these forums. I just added GPS Toggle since I read the prior post. It never ends..... Is it normal to have like 15 - 20 things added to your phone on top of this MS3 ROM?

And I like Bing because I was driving today and used the Speak Search function and it worked like a charm. Pretty slick!

yeah i recommend alot of apps to people doesn't mean they will be in my roms! MS3 is a little different i don't know a single person that doesn't have a key for that! but if they didnt he would be asking his users in order to use my rom, you have to purchase MS3, RESCO Keyboard Pro,RESCO Contact Manager. I wouldnt do that, i cant speak for him but im pretty sure he wouldnt do that either!

One thing that doesn't seem to be negatively affecting the display at all, just space, is that in the Titanium_240X400.cpr file, there are three listed settings, not just comments, for OperatorServices layout template. I believe the one intended to be used is the middle one, at least from what I see in my file.

I have been reading this thread but may have missed it. If Touch Response is breaking ftouchsl is there away to disable it until you can strip it ?

So I intstall this ROM and find that everytime you have a new version I have to install fewer cabs. This time it was only two. The rest of the stuff I use was there.

If there is a way to disable TouchResponse, let me know. I tried just turning it off (unchecking vibrate on touch) doesn't seemed to help on the scrolling.

And it works as a trial only. I don't usually put commercial products in my ROMs though. They are easy enough to install on your with XDA_UC.

Great to hear it is working better.

I add several programs to mine so I don't think it is abnormal (these are commercial products I won't put in my ROM).

I like Bing also. I just wish it locked better though it did very well yesterday.

Its anyones else's rom just clock for no reason. I just reflashed but have a bunch of apps in my xda folder, but my rom will just still there and clock like in the middle of reading a web page email txting what ever and clock 4-6 times and while its doing that you cant do anything. I have the same apps I have always had on there. SPB MS3, Phone Suite, Weather, Time, Skype, AIM, Resco Explorer, Vito FunContact, Vito SMS-Chat, Bing, Google, IGO, MSkip Widgets, and a bunch of games. Let want to know if anyone else is having a issue. The only thing I have done different is installed MS3 over the normal 1.3 rom since MS3 1.3 isnt out yet.
