Turns out that the phone they shipped me was defective...the guts couldn't hold an update or a flash and work. The one I just received today

took the CF03 and your 1.2 version. I'm now updating to the 1.3 version...Marvelous work!!! (...and you do this for fun????)

What about the ringtone issue?

What version of the ROM are you using? MS3 or Neo?

Have you tried another ringtone?

Got the MS3 Rom installed, and it is sweet. However I did wonder if you have the %1 battery increment drivers installed, and if so how do I get MS3 to show the right percentage of power left?

Lisbian08 is correct. I no longer use the 1% or 5% battery dll.

Another great update...

I had a few fur balls in the beginning with showcase starting to fast during startup and mortscript wasn't happy for a while.

I deleted showcase in the startup file and added a icon to my MS3 favorites,for me its works great now.

The more I read this thread, I gather great info for making this phone mine with the help of a great ROM

Blaze, thanks. bigperm was kind enough to take the time to zip up the default tones but I am not remembering it to be one of them. I guess I can live with what I have or if it really bugs me I can load the older OS. If I loaded an RoM that was made for the cc20 on the CF03 that I have now, will that brick the phone or just make it not fully functional? (just to check out the tones.)

why is showcase poping up on startup? is there a way to disable this?

Having a wonderful time. Thanks for the good work.

Do you know how to turn off the automatic screen locking when the device is idle? If I press the power button to shut off the screen the screen locks and I have to slide to unlock when it comes back on. I would prefer not to have that behavior.

I had the same issue and took showcsae out of my startup menu in windows and added a shortcut to ms3 favorites.

For me it worked. Maybe Blazingwolf may have a better suggestion or cure.

Love the rom wolf but for some reason i cant not add any new contacts. all the one i had before imported nicely with pim back up but when i press new in the contact list it just jumps me back to the browse contaxts window. any ideas?

My battery says 100%, even after running for a long time.

Whenever I try to type anything into owner information, and sometimes other apps, it doesn't show the text being typed or won't type anything at all.

Also, after pressing the rest button with my stylus on the top of my handset, i hear sounds from it starting back up, but no display comes on.

I believe this is a known issue. I think you have to add new contacts through the Phonebook. Search this thread to confirm.

Keyboard thing is a known issue. Sometimes the keyboard gets cranky. Usually I just change (temporarily) to a different keyboard (like the basic wm one) and the problem clears itself. Then I just switch back to my preferred keyboard.

Yeah, I'm probably going to go back to HTC Task Manager. Showcase was working real good not being cooked in but it seems to be having some issues while cooked in.

It runs in the background so will do this until I find the registry change I need to hide it. That said, I'm probably going to ditch it as I think it is the cause of some of the issues I am having lately.

It's not set to auto lock on install so hopefully it is the normal lock. Start/Settings/Personal/Buttons/Wake up tab. Uncheck lock on wakeup.

It was running a litte buggie with mine for awhile in MS3. A lot of button pushing with a delayed or no response and just poor performance. It seems to have gotten better or I am just not using it since I have it set to close programs when you push the X. I am still running MS3 v2 and not sure the benes of upgrading to v3 since all is well. Appreciate your work. The honeymoon seems to be over and its time to settle in for the long haul.

You can add the 1% or 5% battery dll yourself from the thread that kabkab created in the main forum. It is in the stickied threads section.

That power panel is all you get on the Samsung. I would need to know programming to hack that.

Not planning on releasing anything from the 21930 series as it is older code with some mods to it. We will see that stuff soon on the newer code.
