The new dialer is part of it. Maybe sometime this afternoon.

You addressed a post of mine a couple weeks back, but unfortunately I didn't post a response. How do I perform a registry edit to enable the prefill in the Receipient box for email and text, which you have in your ROMs. As well as enableing the pop up keyboard in black.

Why don't the other ROMs include the prefill that you do?

Well, you would have to have a registry editor. I use the one included with Resco Explorer but you can use the one in Total Commander or PHM Registry Editor which are free.

Then you need to edit the following key to the following:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete]

"MaxSuggestions"=dword:00000004

The popup keys for the keyboard require you to install another keyboard. I created a cab for the version I currently use and it can be found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.php?p=1...mp;postcount=44

I can't answer your last question as I don't know the answer.

Has there been a permanent fix for the resize issue on MMS images yet? I seem to still have problems with it on my MS3 version.

Have no fear people, I think I have found the solution! Go to pictures and videos, and click menu, tools, options. The first option asks when sending pictures, what size do you want to send it. It defaulted to 640 X 480, and I changed it to 320X240. It actually says it is for email, but i have sent a few pictures since and it works for me!

Is the new one based on 23022 by chance?

No. With all of the changes in that build there are a bunch of issues that I can't fix.

Remove the shortcuts to Showcase from the Windows/Startup folder. Has Wisbar 4 been released then?

Wisbar hasn't been updated to 4 just yet. I decided to try using Showcase instead of Wisbar for a while in the spirit of trying something new so I'll just leave everything as is for now.

Loving the ROM by the way. Keep it up :)

This may belong in the general section but I found it while digging around on a problem I found in 1.3. This may have been around for a while so forgive me if it's been posted before. I just thought it would be good to throw out there in case it helps someone.

I have been trying to get Gmail/IMAP going for a while. I like having a non work email on the phone as well. I kept getting a message saying I had the wrong username/password. Well, long story short, I found this. A quick install and soft reset my gmail now works !

Fix from Microsoft.

I've not had this issue nor needed to install the fix for it but I don't generally add my Gmail account to my phone.

Here is the the next new version of my Night ROM. :)

Added:

Black and white dialer - Thanks VEKKIO

HTC Task Manager

Fixed:

Dialer contact use with D-Pad

Bugs on startup

Removed:

Showcase Task Manager

Touch Response

MS3 version:

Added:

Same as above

Fixed:

Ringtone bug

Removed:

Same as above

Please note some things that I can't change for both versions:

Dialer has a Video call button. This is a GSM dialer. The video call button will never work for Verizon phones.

The contacts list in the dialer will overwrite when scrolling. This is an issue with the Samsng dialer I have yet to find a way to fix. If you scroll back up the list will sort it self. You can also use the WM dialer.

The dialer lock will always work. Even when you try to shut it off in the settings. If you don't like it then please use the WM dialer.

Thanks for the update BW, I know that you have gone over thing in great length before, it is often found that settings icons are missing when using the MS3 image, and can usually be rectified by selecting the Easy Settings and just poking around in there. After doing that, the magically show up in the MS3 menu. Well....I have had this happen before with your very first 1.0 image, and the Easy Settings fixed worked, since then, I have found it happening on all the other MS3 images, on my phone. After I try to do the same fix, it doesn't come back. I have done it over and over, and soft resetted a few times, still no joy. I know you have indicated that this is a bug in MS3 and not much you can do in this area, but has there been any new developments that I could at least try to get my icons back? Oh, I have also flash version 1.4 twice, and it has not fixed the problem, going to the Easy Settings, doesn't bring my icons back. Maybe its just my phone.

UPDATE: Well, scratch everything I typed above, it DOES work if you go to Easy Setting from the the Start menu, I have not had much luck when going to the Easy Setting from the quick button on the side. Sorry to bring it up, I was wrong.

Do you experience this in the start menu also? If so then you might think about formatting your My Storage.

If not then this issue has not been fixed in MS3.

I have the MS3 ROM currently installed and all is working fine for me.

Wow... you released V 1.4 already? I've been very busy so I could not flash with your rom until now so I am still using V 1.2.

Thanks for your hard work. I think your rom is best.

First. Very cool wallpaper. Please share.

You have to much stuff in the taskbar. Some sort of notification along with the bluetooth though it is weird that it doesn't show in the drop down bar. Double check and make sure you don't have something else setting off the notification icons.
