Before I received the new battery, I did a hard reset and reflashed without installing any programs and it went into a coma within 20 minutes. I have not tried this with the new battery but will if you think it might resolve the issue :D

Well, I'm trying to find a way to reproduce this on my phone so I can figure out what is happening. Even with the beta ROM I am running I don't see this issue. It will be hard to fix if I can't reproduce it. Any other things you can tell me might lead me in the right direction.

Hi,

I was wondering if the wakeup alarm was somewhere in this ROM? I didn't see it on the removed list... I tried setting an Alarm on the normal clock page and clicked sound even in silent mode. But it doesn't seem to work with my phone in etiquette mode. Am I missing a simple setting? Thanks

My problem is similar in that I too have had the 12:00 PM freeze (but just for 20 seconds or so) but it was only when I did a reset. My phone is completely black (like it's off) but the power button won't bring it back so I soft reset with stylus. Try keeping the screen on (don't turn off the screen either manually or through a program) and you will probably notice that it doesn't go into a coma. I also noticed battery power diminishing quickly and this process makes it go even quicker but at least you'll have a working phone. Oh, btw, I went from R&R right into 1.4-never flashed to 1.2

Did you flash the CF03 ROM first?

I also noticed the stock Lock on the phone no longer gives notices for missed calls or emails on MS3 v1.4. It was there on MS3 v1.2 Was this removed? There is nowhere on the Lock settings that would affect this. Is this affected by Notifications settings?

It seems as the new builds have come out the less the 6.5 lock has worked. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it working correctly but I haven't gotten any where yet. :D

Anybody seen the Omnia optical mouse over some period of time cease to work with BW_Original_Titanium.cab ( 502.65K ) on this ROM? The mouse continues to work with other apps however.

I don't use it so I haven't seen this. Over what period of time are you speaking of?

I switched to the MS3 version, and it is a lot more pretty and use friendly. I like it a lot.

I keep having speed issues, though? If I cut it off, then back on, it runs very fast and smoothly. After about ten-fifteen minute of use, it slows down significantly, though. Task manager doesn't ever show any tasks running. I'm not sure what's wrong?

EDIT:

Two glitches, just incase there is some possibility that you didn't know about them.

-"Add word" does not work.

-The facebook contact thing, where you add pics from fb to your contact list, the first time I used that it crashed my phone. Afterwards I was able to use it, but every few contacts it won't let me retrieve their pics, it says "Network error"..it's not even a timeout or anything, it's immediate.

Define slow down please.

dang 60 pages.. well hopefully this isnt all repost.

but first off i gotta say ive used a few cooked roms and yours have the best interfaces and seem to have a ton of effort put into them. Thanks, and keep up the awesome work. its appreciated pretty much everywhere.

in opera when i save, sometimes the drop down menus lock up and never go away. sometimes they are fine

installation of google search froze the phone at legal agreements. after a reset, i ran it again and as it was installing i was just taken back to the spb shell. it turns out it did install. when installing google maps, phone locked up during download. i let it chug and the screen went black and never came back on, had to pull the battery.

also maybe im just missing it, but is there an easy way to "close" the spb app and just use the today screen, while i absolutely love the spb interface, it keeps "dominating" the phone and jumping back to that screen when i don't want it to.

I haven't seen the issue with Opera before and I believe you are the first to report it. What are you saving? You are using the MS3 ROM?

Does anyone know why the auto word complete stops working in emails after awhile? This has happened to almost every ROM. Its there working after flashing and then some time later its gone. I don't know when but the bar is no longer there in emails. All the setting under Keyboard are set for it to work.

i have 1 quick ? tho: is it still necessary to go thru the task manager to somletely shut down the programs? or do they fully close out of memory when the "x" is pressed?

The slow down issue wasn't your rom, sorry. I installed Flexis, after uninstall it worked fine.

I have a huge issue though, i have two Omnias. They're the exact same model, with same specs/ect.

I'll give you the exact proceedure of how i did this:

Omnia A: 6.1 -> 6.5 -> FlashBWNightV14.bin -> 6.5 -> FlashBWNightV14_MS3.bin

I left it like that, I like this version.

The other omnia is my roomates;

Omnia B: 6.1 -> 6.5 -> FlashBWNightV14.bin

I had no problems in the installation process/ect. The first Omnia has been working great, no issues except the Flexis & MS3 thing. The second omnia has been working fine with no problems at all until a few hours ago. It froze, so i had to force shut it off. After cutting it back on, it worked fine. I left it idle for like an hour, came back, and it was off. I know that the battery didn't die, it was fully charged.

The phone wouldn't cut back on at all, the red light doesn't even cut on when you hook it up. I put it on the charger for about an hour just incase. I took the battery out and put it back in, tried everything. I couldn't get any response at all. I thought for sure that it was bricked..but then it randomly cut back on when i pressed the power button again?

Well it's been working fine and i haven't had any issues since, but should i revert back to 6.5 just incase?

Thanks for pointing out the ReStart program! It works great. Is there a way to turn on the honeycomb effect via registry? After switching to the 3 Row start menu I no longer have the honeycomb, and I actually prefer it. Also, is there an easy way to set a custom background for the today screen and start menu? I tried selecting a wallpaper when I loaded one of the themes but it just made everything blurry.

Hey BW,

I think there is a serious bug overlooked. Unless this is just isolated to me?

When in the dialer screen, I flick up to see the calls made and they jarble up over each other. Anyone else see this?

Also, I have been getting distortions in NEO on the music player. The icon enlarges to the point it gets clipped on the right of it.

Lastly, I am giving you feedback here. But honestly, YOU ROCK MAN!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention this one but yep, that happens to me too. You may also notice when filling in text boxes in like the FB applet or under Opera that you sometimes don't see what you are typing at all until you close the keyboard, then the characters you typed show up. Screen refresh issue?

I'll vouch for this as well. No alarm sounds in etiquette mode.

Q: does the calendar app in this ROM tie into the alarm sounds? I see it has a "bell" icon in the cal settings when I set a new appointment but no options to change sounds, etc and appointments I have tried to set have no sounds. It's OK if I can use the other alarm clock but it would be better tied to the cal app I think.

Q: I know your getting a lot of questions but, if I install the 3-row cab, can I delete it and go back to the 4-row hex menu if I like the 4-row honeycomb better?

OK. That is the Neo ROM. I will look in to it.

I have other reports of random lock ups too. I have yet to pinpoint it to a single cause though. I'm still trying to figure it out.

If you installed by cab file then go to remove programs and delete it. If you copied files in to the windows folder then just delete the files and the ones in the ROM will come back.

It sets a reminder alarm just like the standard calendar.

If you install by cab then go to remove programs and delete the cab file. If you install files then delete the files and the ones in the ROM will come back.

Easy? Find a cab that has it like that is the only easy way. Otherwise you will have to edit the cpr files for the start menu to get this.

HELP!!!! I can't take reflashing anymore!!! So im using the latest rom...i noticed the SPB Keyboard options does not come up at all. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to go to the full keyboard and select "Menu" at the top and selection options?

yeah i got the today screen, but i want to actually CLOSE it, if thats possible. im just annoyed how it pops up after everything, every time i close a box or a setting or anythign i go back to the shell..

(Actually i think the real solution is that some of the spb stuff bugs me and i might just switch to your "Night" build.

yes im using MS3V1.4. and i messed around with opera more, and when i save files if i use the touch screen to select the save location, sometimes the drop down box will freeze up, and stay there forever. even if i close opera. i can see the drop down box and the items within it on every screen, the shell, the file explorer, programs etc. always just on the screen like a frozen box. if i use the touch sensative arrow pad, then i have no problems. -also it doesnt happen consistantly, just on the occasion when choosing where to save files.

:D Hey blazing wolf Loving the ms3 rom so much much better the running shell on 6.1. Theres only one thing that you can't do in the 6.5 that you could do in 6.1 that ive run across. that is highlight text that some one sends you in text messages and emails. You can highlight text you typing but not something that some one sent you. Maybe you can and I just dont know how to. If you can let me know if im going something wrong.
