Guest jonboyuk Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Core I see you're in England, are those screenies from your own Omnia II and if so where can I get one? :)
Guest Core Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Yes they are for my own Omnia, I bought mine from ebay but the seller I got it from hasn’t got ant left at the moment, but there is another seller with good feedback who is selling them for £420. They all use Fedex express to ship, I received mine in 2 days which is very good from Singapore to the UK.

Guest vatna Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I've also read in posts and reviews that the screen visibility is poor in sunlight. Obviously, this could be quite a problem when using it for navigation. Does anyone have any experience of using it for navigation in a car? Of course, the unit would have to be angled so that there isn't any direct reflection from the sun or sky. Is the screen good enough to be usable for in-car navigation?

Guest thanvot Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 I have already installed: Igo8, Navigon 7, Destinator 7, Miomap 2008, Garmin, Sygic, Ndrive, Automapa It took me almost 2 weeks testing, in order to make them all work properly, but now i'm OK. For Greece the 3 medals go to: Igo, Garmin and Navigon
Guest Snow02 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 I just installed copilot 8 and it's sweet. Can't beat it for $20.
Guest AndrejM Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Hi all ... Does anybody know why every single navigation program works on my Omnia II with big lag? I've tried Garmin XT Windows Mobile v.5.00.20w, and also iGO 8.3.4.117940 ... Both worked with big lag ... For example, when I stopped the car, speed fall to 0 km/h after 30 seconds or. while I was driving, vehicle moved after every cca. 200m ... I've tried to run application from Micro SD card, and also from My Storage, but there is absolutelly no difference ... Info about my phone: - Samsung Omnia II I8000 - WM 6.5 Pro - PDA: I8000NXXIL5 - CSC: I8000MOTIL5 - PHONE: I8000XXIL2 - Program RAM: 256MB (about 50MB free) Greetings from Slovenia ... Sorry for my bad english, hope you understand ...

Guest kersey Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Igo 8 works really well same as my i900, people are recomending Copilot...i tried running it but it crashes after 5 mins of use.. saying the phone does not have enough memory to run bleh.. I've tried both Garmin and Co-pilot. I prefer Co-pilot due to the better choice of views (3D, 2D etc) and less lag in updating my position but cannot find a way to stop it connecting to the internet when in use. Does anyone who's used Co-pilot know how to diable it connecting to the internet as I don't want it connected for a journeyof a few hours. Cheers
