The cold boot takes about 5 minutes from pressing the power button until pressing "Reboot" - do not abort it!

New SYS/XIP (CE OS 5.2.23017 (Build 23017.5.3.0)) - 6 MB page pool

- Titanium (improved from v1.1); a Titanium Slide theme (looks like Titanium, acts like CHome)

- WM 7 Theme (big and small)

- Office (including OneNote), Games

- dotNET 3.5

- Vox xT9 (more languages here and more keyboard layouts here)

Changelog:

from v2.2 to v2.3:

  • encryption is now working
  • more modules -> more RAM (use Oxis Close Apps to get nearly 24 MB after a boot)
  • newer OEM packages from Captain 21051 dump (no major changes in the software)
  • added start menu tweaks
  • added 2 new soft menu colors
  • added QuickNotes back
  • changed some icons (EDGE and GPRS are now only a white E / G instead of a white square with a black E / G) the same for Bluetooth icon


    • SYS and XIP updated to 23017
    • using newest drivers from Vodafone ROM (only 0.01 higher than previous drivers)

    • added WM Slim and Wm 7 theme
    • added the possibility to change the bottom bar
    • added Titanium Weather and CCom to normal CHome layouts


      • back to 21812
      • hopefully fixed all bugs from 2.0
      • updated some OEM packages from newer Snap ROM (Verizon Ozone)
      • back to 6MB pagepool (try for yourself what you think is the best)

        from v1.1 to v2.0:
        • new SYS/XIP 23004
        • removed VoIP (a bit more RAM attached in the 3rd post)
        • improved Titanium
        • added Titanium Weather and CCom (CommManager sliding panel) (both only in Titanium themes)
        • added Oxis Hybernate and Close Apps (to free up RAM)
        • changed the pagepool to 8MB (less hanging (right menu bug), therefore less free RAM, but worth it (change it back to 6MB if you like, see 3rd post)
        • moved all my tweaks to a Mort Script in Expert Folder
        • added MortScript
        • Connection Setup starts automatically on the first boot

        from v1.0 to v1.1:

        [*]Titanium now standard theme (completely re-written from scratch)

        [*]start menu icons are WM standard (if you want Prof. or Snap icons install from Expert\Tweaks\Appearance folder)

        [*]added HTC Weather to all Sliding panel home screens

        [*]change the soft menus back to normal (if you want Prof. style install from Expert\Tweaks\Appearance folder)

        from BETA 13 to v1.0:

        [*]switched to SYS/XIP 21812

        [*]using OEMHook.dll from Vodafone ROM - no vibration on shutdown !

        [*]switched to new MMS software

        [*]changed icons to WM 6.5 Professional Style (Snap icons can be found in Experts menu)

        [*]added Titanium (normal CHome style can be found in Experts menu)

        [*]added Remote Desktop Mobile (from new SYS)

        [*]all menus work perfect now

        from BETA 1 (actually BETA 11) to BETA 13:

        [*]added back the OEM packages from my Snap ROM

        [*]removed PIE 6 and Widgets

        [*]removed HTC Sliding Panels (layout doesn't work anymore)

        [*]removed my 6.5 theme

        [*]changed the start menu icons

        [*]added "Small Messaging Font" to Expert Menu

        [*]added WM-6.5-Professional-like menus

1) You want a different Page Pool? Grab the Page Pool Changer, choose the wm65v2xbx.nbh and select select the value you want, click "Change To" and flash the ROM!!

2) You want VoIP? Install the attached CAB!

Install one of the attached CABs for the menus!

You want your favorite theme with Rinku's iconbar?

The files for Rinku's iconbar are included! All you have to do is get the theme you want to change to Rinku from Application Data\Home, open it in notepad and replace:

This is excellent, and a lot quicker and better looking than the ROM I was using previous, which was the Factory default.

I have samsung click (i200 in some markets) will it run on it?

hi my name is tarak and i have S710. when i connect my phone to pc it automaticaly connect with windows mobile device center,then when i clik one the flash.exe it disconnect and connect again and start proccess then up to 3% the moblie trun off and restart's plozz tell me what to do.

Very nice ROM FH! :)

Once again you have worked hard to deliver another fantastic package, looks and works great on my E650!

Only problem I have now is that I can't get Accuweather to work correctly, I just get a "connection timeout" message. I have put my location code (from the Accuweather website) into the configuration for the weather app, but I don't seem to be able to actually download any weather information!

I have checked my data connection using Windows Live Messenger, so I know the phone is sending and receiving data ok, anybody got any ideas how to fix the weather problem?

Just for information, I am in UK so the location code I used from Accuweather website is

EUR|UK|UK224|Guildford

I have checked spellings etc and all appears to be correct, it just doesn't work!

Any help would be gratefully accepted :D

Just when I thought it was all going well....

Once again I am getting errors when Accuweather tries to update! Also, what sould be displayed on the "last" sliding panel of Accuweather as I only get the the summary information on the left, location at the bottom and 4 red circles with crosses across the main body. Any ideas what this bit is for?

Hi There..

Nice Rom. i just upgraded from the old snap and now it feels slow.

any way to disable the fade thing when returning from blank screen ?

any other tweaks to make it more snappy ?

EDIT:

Also seem to get lockups when entering file explorer and hitting menu.

can´t close it again.

Sollution:

Changed the poolsize to 8Mb.

now it seems alot snappier and no lockups anymore.

Im pretty gutted about there being no Windows Live Messenger included in this ROM, so any advice on what to do to get it back, or a decent app thatll do the job?

EDIT: It is in there... just hidden under another theme. :)

Eitherway, Ive noticed my phone becoming quite unstable using this, so Im going to play around and see if I can make it work better, with a more simple ROM.

actually, you need to use SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe and then uspl_116_jockyw.bat that are in the package befoe doing the rom update
