What operator and country are you in?? And is this problem just with my rom or all cooked roms?

The contact app should be there, it's standard in all recent releases.. no need to cook a different one. :)

i am currently using lebara in noraway.

i think it is only in ur rom, not 100% sure though.

i know the contact app is there but also the new black phonebook app, but is it possible to make the black phonebook app the default one, like when i press the left softkey it opens the phone book instead of the contacts?

anyone installed the latest opera beta?

i have just installed it and i can connect to the internet via wifi with opera. i use ie, and it connects normally, i changed the operator then changed back to the original one, put the seting on automatic detect network, but still cant get it to work.

so basically i cant use any other browser than IE on the omnia then.

I love this ROM, it seems to work best for me. All it needed was FTouchSL and touch response now it scrolls sweeeeet!!!

The best thing is the large icons in start except they needed redoing. Heres the new icons.

one more qwuestion,, i noticed u have ic0ns0ft ph0nex installed as phone manager. do u encounter any ringing problems like when u set the profile to normal vibrate+ring, does it always ring+vibrate when u receive calls?

i used ver 2.0.2 and had some issues, while ver 1.4.5 is not compatible with wm6.5.1.

i cant connect to the internet with any 3rd party app other than IE, nothing else wants to connect via wifi, tried downloading in enhanced gps, but it cant connect, market place doesnt work, everytime i start IE it gives an error that it cant download blank page, tap on cancel then it continues to operators home page which i changed many times but is still stuck there.

úopera 9.7 beata doesnt connect, skype works fine though...

Then I read that it is advised to hard reset after flashing and began doing that, so since then ive always had some sort of issue arise be it with freezing or programs not displaying or working properly forcing me to hard reset again and again. Yesterday I went through 5 ROM's and finished back on nicks 23069 hide8. Did not hard reset, installed all my programs as usual and everything is working unreal including ph0nex. When I recieve an incoming call it goes straight to the ph0nex incoming call screen instead of the standard windows screen first then 2 seconds ph0nex screen. All sound profiles work properly with ph0nex.

Try using this program to speed things up especially with NEO ROMS, it will make scrolling smoother in both home and start menu's. Heres the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514333

as far as i know that program (wich i use) cleans your ram, so u don't have to SR. it won't make scrolling smoother, unless your device is running so many apps that it is looking like a slooooooow turtle. correct me if i'm rong

Scroll before and scroll after and see the difference. Makes a big difference on my phone. Not running any programs either, all closed. Not sure of the technical side of what it all does.

Just wish there was something to make messages open faster :)

EDIT: i apparently got the ph0nex manager to work properly,,, just had to install it on device memory. but still having problem with opera, tried installing it to device memory, but to no avail... :(

probably not compatible with wm6.5.1??

i downloaded and installed your Classic ROM just now. After successfully getting "Job done" screen, the phone rebooted with your trademark startup screens. But the phone hung on your "Chef wallpaper" display. Its been there for 5 minutes. Has it stuck? do i need to hard reset?

Has it restarted once already?? Have you tried tapping the screen??

Otherwise, try soft-resetting (top hole next to the power button).
