Hi, first of all thank you for your great roms Nick. I'm using your 23620 lite rom, i like it very much, but i have a great problem. i can't connect via wifi. I have dhcp disabled in my router because i need to have it this way, and when i try to configure the ip, default gateway,etc on the omnia i can only put 2 digits in each field. For example, if i want to put 192.168.1.4 as the ip, i only get 19.16.1.4.

I only use wifi for connecting to the internet, so this is a great problem for me. Anyone have a solution for this? am i doing something wrong? Thanks for your help in advance, and sorry for my english.

Thanks for your fast reply. I've tried overwriting this file, but when i do a soft reset the phone doesn't ask me for the pin anymore and connect to the phone network. Also i can't enter into the wifi settings, when i press on the wifi icon nothing happens. Some idea of what can i try/do?

And...i didn't backup the file i've overwritten, so i can't use the phone now xD (my mistake). Can you upload the original one?

Ooops, jeje. I have overwritten the file with resco explorer 2010 beta3, because the file explorer in the rom gave me an error. Don't worry, i will flash again, thanks anyway. But do you think there is a solution for the ip problem or should i try another rom? I like this rom...but i want wifi jeje.

EDIT: I have restored the file with sktools, thanks for your help and for your roms, i hope you continue doing this lite roms (will try to solve the ip problem)

Never say never. I'm trying all the new builds at the mo, and whichever is fastest i'll make a Neo special. It'll be a one off though :)

To be honest, from what i've seen so far there are lots of new releases and new build number that we've never seen before. But there is not a huge difference between them, most do not include threaded email or other innovations but i've not had time to play with them THAT much. Main differenece is speed but i might do a "hybrid" build to get the best from all builds but that might be too complicated (and create bugs). I'll see what i'll do later :)

EDIT: and the 24001 classic ready as well. Internet seem to be working as it should today B) .. If i find any other good builds i'll be adding to the build collection, there's just too many to choose from at the moment. There's nothing for 2-3 weeks and then this... nevermind :)

Currently i am using 21888 which is great and very stable. I have no issues with it. I have only question about 24001. Is it so stable like 21888 (i just want to test new UI)

Theres maybe a tiny improvement in speed but sms lag is still the same from day 1 and it looks like its there to stay but thats M$'s problem not Nicks. Love the fonts!

how do you define sms lag? is it the lag in opening sms or lag in typing out messages and entering recipient's name?
