Midomi ported to Omnia (WQVGA)

thanks Sector for the port and Ikkari for the fix. The Soft Keys do work on i910 btw, just not the "Menu" one, locks up the program. Good digs guys, good work as always.

thank yous - sector for porting this, to whoever found that reg hack for vzw 3g, and to BW for making that cab - it works great!

also, i think it's hilarious that this new app says it's based on an older version on WM when installed on some of these newer ROMs here lol

*just can't use the soft keys at the bottom, but using the tabs up top works fine!

I noticed people with working "Menu Softbutton" have 1 additional registry entry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Melodis\Midomi\midomiGUID

This is missing on my phone, maybe this is connected to the problem

that the "Menu Softbutton" isn't working?!

I just searched the i8000 reg dump and I don't see this reg entry in it.

I'd just like to mention that XBIC1, the newest official English/Nordic ROM for i900 Omnia (still avaible in Samsung website) DOES CONTAIN Midomi app, as integral part of the ROM. I've been using it happily with my Omnia for a while...

looks like a great up. my device memory is very low, having M2D installed.

how can i install it directlly to MY STORAGE without copying any files to the device?

can you change the SETUP.XML so it will install it directlly to MT STORAGE?

Reboot and try again?

It works here so it should work on yours also. Maybe u need to install sdkcerts from somewhere. If you are using my rom certs are already included.

I think this is a general problem on my device.

Another CABs are don't install, too! :-(

Well this sucks, i'm a i910 owner and i was using a BW rom, then flashed to a bgill rom and now when i try to use this app it keeps slamming the network error in my face. Oh well, guess i'll flash back....I am getting sick of this flashing s*** :)

Meh this sucks, it only recognizes very popular songs, not everything, especially it hasn't got a clue what electronic music is and then you have to pay for the songs to get them...

They have to charge you for the music, or else it would be copyright infringement and they'd be shut down.. :)

Not my experience. Has found everything I've hummed, including O Fortunato, which I've heard in movie soundtracks but didn't know what it was. Nailed it right away.
