Has anyone tried to disable the factory default Samsung skinned Outlook Mobile and return it back to the Microsoft standard Outlook Mobile and Messaging application?

Thanx

It's possible via registry modifications and I've done it before.Problem is I can't find the instructions anymore...but rest assured it's possible.

Hi all:

I'm having a lot of problems managing emails from the embeded messaging applications of Omnia II. I don't know if there is any qay to disable this applications and to use the standard ones of WinMO. Not only using Tmail, but also to using the composer for SMS and emails. The main problem on emails is that I can't see the complete subject of any email. I also can't see thecomplete list of the people addressed to the email. On SMS, I can't select other telephone number other than the one stored in the Mobile field. But for instance several people has 2 mobiles, and I normally stored them as work or jhome, but I can only send an sms to the Mobile number. Otherwise I have to introduce it manually.

Any suggestion? I tried using third parties applications but it overrides everything.

Thanks for your help!!!

Yo have to change al the values in IPM including the ones for EmForm.dll in Note registry group. once you change those reset the phone. there are several for mms.dll and EmForm.

Yah! Finally! Thank you. Now i can read my emails and have threaded messaging.

Wonder when will Samsung come out with a new rom to address these problems. Almost crippled users who rely on their phone for emails.

Hi,

I face the same problems.. the embedded app really mess up my outlook email. The above solution? Can I have some background? Do I need a "reg edit" or something like that?

Please let me know... thanks

Dear ALL. I managed to solve it.... only thing now I guess is the auto tilting to horizontal mode does not work. NOt sure if there is a manual way to do it.

Thanks.
