Many questions about Omnia 2 :D

Hello, I am very new to Smartphones and WinMo devices... my last phone was a VERY old Nokia model (like 5 years old, i could use it just for calling people and sms^^). I just bought a Omnia 2 some days ago and even after reading countless pages on many forums (took me 3 FULL days ahaha) I still have a lot of questions left unanswered. Hope you could answer them, I think they could be helpfull for other newbs like me too:)

1) Storages: what's the difference in speed between the My Device, My Storage and a class 4/6 micro sd card?

On some forum I could read that a class 6 card is faster than the 8gb My Storage but what about a class 4 for example? and I was wondering where is better to install programs? is there any difference in speed between My Device and My Storage and is it noticeable while using programs installed on them or accessing files?

If the camera is set to save the pics to My Storage, will it take more time than saving to a class 6 micro sd card? is the difference noticeable/worth the price?

2) Is there any video player for winmo supporting subtitles external files? on PPCSG forum some people was talking about subtitles for the Touch Player but i was not able to make it works (what is the caption option?).

3) Is there any touch friendly photo viewer? I tried many of them (resco, spb, Eyephoto, SplashPhoto, s2v, xnview) but without good results, i want to be able to swipe pages even when they are zoomed (on Resco forum they announced a beta of the new version which should have such functions but they keep delaying the release date for some months now).

4) What's the difference between the winmo file explorer and samsung file manager? I notice the winmo one can't display the file extensions (how to enable it?) while the samsung one can't display hidden files (is it possible to enable it?)

How can i delete "read only" files? for example the defult ringtones mp3 files inside /Windows

5) is it possible to uninstall defult applications like RRS Reader, Podcast, Streaming Player, Midomi and so on? if so, need some 3rd party programs or disabling Touchwiz UI?

6) I removed the sounds for Touch Alert and Hardware Buttons... but still the Widgets do sounds and vibrate. Any way to disable the sounds/vibration for widgets too?

7) I was wondering what's the use of Samsung lock screen? even if locked the backlight will be turned on touching the screen anyway so I can't carry it in my pocket like that. (I guess I'll just turn the screen off or use some 3rd party application, but still wondering what the samsung lock screen can be used for)

8) Is it possible to disable the option to "Ignore a call and reply with a custom sms" when receiving a call? I think it's too easy to do that by mistake.

9) While making a call, the screen will go on/off every few seconds... is it normal? how to have it always on during a call?

10) Having used a Nokia phone for a loooong time, I got used to customizable Sound Profiles and switching quickly among them (Silent, Outdoor, Meeting and so on). Is there any 3rd party program to do something like this for WinMo?

11) Any solutions yet for the issue of initial few secs of low ring volume?

12) Is there no option to prevent my 3G/GPRS to start up and using wifi or usb internet? I tried to look at the coonection settings but they are too hard to understand for me^^ is there any easy guide on this subject? Or the only way is to use some 3rd party prog like nodata or connection manager?

13) How to turn off the sound of the camera shutter and the sound of the autofocus?

14) Are there any settings to stop the too much frequent search for new files of the Touch Player? often it detects new files even when there are none...

15) After I get more used to Touchwiz and Widgets, I'd like to try the SPB mobile shell. I was reading that a good point of Touchwiz was the in-depth customization of winmo menus. Is the situation much different with SPB? (well, you can ignore this question, I will try it myself is better i guess^^)

Too many questions so answers will be short...

1) Storages:

My Device - Device internal available memory

My Storage - internal 8 or 16Gb flash (like an internal SD card)

Class 4/6 - No clue

Install Programs - system tweaks and changes to my device, the rest can go to My Storage, external SD card can used only for media stuff

My Device and My Storage speed diference - not that I know... the reason for system tweaks to go to my device is to avoid bugs during start up

Use TCPMP with subtitles (Google for it)

3) Is there any touch friendly photo viewer? On Samsung photo viewer have you tried to zoom and tilt the device?

Samsung file manager- beautiful junk

Use Resco Explorer (not free) or Total Commander (free)

Delete "read only" files? - most are in ROM - only way is to flash a new ROM. Read a lot before doing that ok.

Disabling Touchwiz UI? - Nice one to start reading this forum. Answer is here for sure. I can't remember since my ROM doesn't have it.
