i see my i8000 showing a 3G icon on top of the screen. does it mean i will be able to browse the net using 3G speed? cause i heard people saying that 3G browsing speed is only for their Iphone 3G and 3GS.

anyone knows about it?

yes you are getting 3g but at 1900mhz band if you are in usa , i get it here but is weak i need to get 3g at 850mhz band some way thats r strong

lol. Those that you heard from probably live in the stone age then. Or are die-hard Apple fans. There are tons of phones that allow you to surf via 3G.
