make a modem internet connexion ?

sorry for my english, i am a french i900 user :D

i search for make an internet connexion on my i900 with a modem connexion

i want internet on my i900, not sharing with my pc, only on i900 and i don't want use GPRS connexion

i can do that on my old sony ericson F500, but i can't with i900

it was a slowly connection but enought for rss reader.

i try to configure a new modem connexion, with cellular ligne (not GPRS ligne), phone number from my FAI and logon/password, but when i try to establish connexion, the i900 seems not to compose the number...

is it possible to establish a connection with i900 modem without pc ? anybody for ideas ?

Not exactly sure what you're asking, friend. But there are three basic ways to get an internet connection onto the Omnia.

1) WiFi

2) Use the Internet from the PC through Active Sync.

3) GPRS

If you are looking to make a dial-up only connection, then that may not be possible now because the technology has come way beyond that now. Older phones used to be able to do this - I had one that did indeed dial out - but now that everything is WAP, I'm just not sure anymore. If this is indeed what you are looking for then you may want to check with your mobile provider.
