what will happen if i flashed it on my current mcr 3.1 rc2?

can i create another rom with the sense ui, what will happen if i flash it onto the rom without sense? ^^

Post any issues here and i'll do my best to fix them as soon as possible!

re: the widgets, they are associated with the appropriate 'packages' so no... but since they're on the system partition anyway and aren't loaded without Rosie, it's a non-issue.

You should be able to flash any ROM you like without wiping! :)

EDIT: Forget it, I decided to do some (very easy) research. D'oh!

Will have a go now. :)

"Jbed Java

* This option includes the HTC Jbed Java midlet launcher."

I'm not entirely sure if I want this or not. Am I right in thinking that it's just something to enable parts of websites?

It's for running Java Midlets...

Hi Paul - many, many thanks again. My ROM is baking now...

One option I'd like to see in future is for custom inclusion of fonts with international character sets. I am living in Thailand, so I need to load Droid fonts with Thai script included in order to read the spam SMSs I receive from my local carrier. I also like to use AnkiDroid to improve my language.

Perhaps users could upload fonts with different international character sets to a central repository to be included in future custom ROM bakes?

(Also, if anyone knows of a Droid font with International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) glyphs included, I'd be grateful for a link... Although, I've been looking for a while, so I am almost at the point of figuring out how to do it myself. Is Font Forge the best bet?)

Cheers,

hey paul, testing it right now. just a question, will you include future builds as well (e.g. the long anticipated 2.1 update) as they are out?

"Click the image below to a ROM update zip tailored to your choices."

To create a ROM?

If I flash a 3.1 ROM with everything, and then flash baked ROM with let's say Stocks removed (without wiping), will it delete the Stocks application?

Just wondering if I could safely use it to add/remove parts to my existing 3.1 ROM without wiping.

Looks like great work by the way...

Looks like too many people are trying to access this at the same time.

I have tried 4 times and every time i get "Page can't be displayed" B)

Guess will have to wait for the initial rush to die down a bit and then try again :)

GREAT WORK Paul

Ouch...

Taken the kitchen offline temporarily while I tweak some stuff to manage the load (i'm also bringing an additional box online)...

Thanks for your patience!
