i am getting a bad feeling about this rom, it seems it is very much customized for 3 customers needs...

Was just about to flash to it - what makes you think it for 3 customers?

Yeah, I can see how that could lead you to think its for 3 customers :-)

Paul, I thought you had removed 3 branded stuff!!??

I flashed this ROM over the top of my existing Custom Kitchen ROM, NO WIPE!

I am not seeing the '3' Branded stuff mentioned in the previous posts!

Sweet - will download and test it now - you planning on adding it to the custom kitchen so we can choose default apps?

Paul I tried this method. deleted services.jar and services.odex and pushed newly created services.jar. and did reboot. and it resulted in non-booting phone. waited 25 minutes. any idea? cheers

please........

Yes, soon! :)

It actually makes my dev process easier too! I can very very rapidly implement changes and tweaks without needing to rebuild the whole ROM.

My download speeds are now the same as I had with the original t-mobile rom

Up: 3.5~3.8Mbps

Down: 0.8~1.0Mbps

With MCR 3.0 and 3.1it was

Up: 1.5~1.8Mbps

Down: 0.3~0.5Mbps

I am on slovak T-Mobile network

Can I push tweaked build.prop from this rom to custom 3.1? Or will it crash rom I'm using right now?

New icons are looking nice. The ROM seemed a bit laggier than 3.1, didn't use it a lot yet though. Looking forward to see it available in the kitchen ;D

I'm leaving this ROM for the HERO21 - Community release v1.8 (24-12-09)

The main reason being the problem with the WiFi. It keep turning on and off randomly, draining my battery.

And also I want 2.1.... I'll come back to the MoDaCo ROM once it's 2.1 and the WiFi problem is solved.

Also: how can I make it so that my apps are saved to the SD? I know this topic has been addressed many times, but it confuses me still. What are the steps?

Thanks!!

I have used MCR since September and have never had a problem with WiFi randomly turning on and off.

You have a rogue app installed if that's happening!

Actually I tried it and it is good but not so stable. I'd rather prefer modaco 3.1 it is faster and more stable. If you finally try 2.1 I would like to know your opinion.

Ermmm....did I miss something? I flashed up from a 3.1 mccr without a wipe.....all went well....but I see no new icons at all :-(

maybe it's linked to why I permanently get a FC trying to open Wifi Tether....and also why my 'internal memory widget' is showing me using

142 out of 165mb !!!!

any ideas guys?

I just installed eBuddy from the market with beta2 no problems. Have you tried a wipe?
