OK something really weird...

Flashed this 2 days ago and it has been getting slightly sluggish over the time...not too bad but noticeable

But today morning when I woke up at about 6, I found the clock in the notification bar at top was stuck at 08:40pm (last night)...the widget on the home screen showed correct time and even my alarms went on but I had to reboot to get the notification bar(and lock screen) times to change

Has anyone had similar issues???

Have reverted to 3.1 MCCR that I baked since then and its much better.....

I saw jjjacks post about sdcard issues, but has anyone had an issue with actually getting the Hero to recognise that it's plugged in with 3.1? I've never had this issue before but now when I plug in it doesn't even ask if i want to Mount/Sync, it just doesn't seem to realise that there's a USB data connection.

You have a rogue app installed if that's happening!

As far as I can remember it was a clean install. But ok, after having tried 2.1 (community version) I'm coming back to your ROM, dear Paul. The 2.1 version which I posted earlier is slow and laggy.

I realized that a system which is running fast is by far more valuable than all the benefits of 2.1 combined.

Thank you so much for increasing the value of our HTC Hero.

Yes, after quite a few days of constant use, i'm finding this ROM is slowing down and getting unresponsive. Not sure i'm liking this '3' build.

I'm reverting back to my baked 3.1 which was running fine.

You might wanna think about ditching this build Paul.

Thanks

same here, it was running like the official release(the keyboard was only fast, switching home screens, start up programs etc are REALLY SLOW(A))

but that is why it is a beta :)

Everybody with lags after a few days, please try this:

Got to the recovery and wipe the dalvik cache.

Look about the lagginess after that.

In my case it works mostly.

Yeah I have flashed back to 3.1 Baked and there is improvements in signal, battery and response.

Maybe you could release this for three customers out there, possibly call it 3.1.3 :)

EDIT : Worked fine et voilà !!

I've fixed that issue now, so builds with no data components should work fine.

One more thing I forgot to mention which is probably due to the three network customisations, I kept getting connection errors in the market while using Beta2.
