Just search for morelocale on the market. So without the space. This way you can choose whatever locale you need

I have downloaded morelocale 2 and press danish and now the ui is danish and the keyboard have danish t9 thanks all

I don't know whats with this kitchen.

I've been baking my roms now since the first time, modaco give it to us.

I don't install:

Java, Peep, Stock, Notes, WiFi Teether

In the Apps List (App Manager) there aren't those programms.

But:

In Androids Settings, in this Apps List there it shows ALL this programs!

What's this?

Could that be? Anybody looked at this? Paul? Is that right?

I think, we bake a rom and this programs doesn't need to install to phone.

Disabling compcache does not seem to work when cooking this ROM. Cooked a ROM without compcache and is still there when checking cat /proc/swaps + cat /proc/ramzswap. Also I notice the ROMs are exactly the same size with or without compcache.

Any Ideas?

found a weird bug in latest modaco beta for hero,

dunno why but it changed my isp name from Bouygues to 3G Bouygues and when i try to launch some apps it says i'm not using a valid isp

I had that except it was vodaphone to 3g vodaphone I cured it with a complete wipe and reformat +ext and then i flashed with 3.0 and then flashed the 3.2.5 all is fine back to vodaphone also in the settings >wireless controls>mobile network settings>Data roaming>set it to never. that way it will be a 2G network rather than 3G

- Nandroid Backup

- install the customcustom without these programs

- restart

Thats it. And now there are these files, where I've thought that I didn't install that with baked rom.

Was that false what I'd done?

the thing is when i'm on edge it's ok it says bouygtel then turn back to 3g bouygues when using 3g/hspda

Relating to apps being present when not selected in the kitchen: try uninstalling them from Settings - Applications, then flashing.

I installed a custom custom with BizCardReader, and it remained installed when I flashed one without. Had to uninstall it manually before flashing, which did the trick.

you're right, man!

I baked the ROM new, flashed to SD Card, apply the *.zip and now they're gone.

Don't know what happened before, but actually I'm very surprised and happy.

That's caused by the ro.ril.enable.3g.prefix=1 line in the build.prop.

Remove the line and the ISP name will revert to normal.

I have buy Modaco plus only so i can use you online kitchen for 3.2 beta i have never had a htc what is so fast and now until we can bake a custom 2.x from you Poul i use 3.2 and i'm very happy Thanks

the whole 3g hack thing locks tv stream and gives some error with 3G prefix, after removing the 5 lines i can finally watch tv again, this hack should be an option only

Just upgraded from b3 to b5, hopefully this will sort a crashing issue I have had recently. I'll wake up and the phone will have crashed during the night showing the time on the screen, once about 3:30am and last night at 5:something am. Have to soft reset to get it working again.

There is still a real problem in 3.2.5:

I'm using Y5 Power Saver. It turns off my WiFi automatically, when I'm away from home and switch it on, when I come back home again.

I've tried that for a few days and had a look at this.

There are problems with switching off WiFi! If Y5 want to pull it off, it hangs in "turning off"

Same by switching to airplane mode.

So it could be, that the Hero with this rom tooks at night in airplane mode 30 % off battery!!

Same today at work. 2 Hours are 20%. Then I take a look to settings and at WiFi is "turning off" for hours.

Only a restart helps.

Paul, thats a bug, please have a look on it.

compcache is disabled for me since redownloading after pauls fix, cat /proc/swaps and cat /proc/ramzswap commands now report nothing.
