Guest Arthur Hucksake Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Voice Search Force Closes on my phone. Anyone else?? I had the same problem. Google Chrome seemed to be doing something screwy when I was making the rom in the kitchen. Cleared my browser cache, cookies etc created a new rom and it worked fine.
Guest nicandris Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Paul, when shall we wait for the non-beta release?
Guest Smilgs Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 (edited) Hello folks. I have MoDaCo 3.1 installed, and wondering if my available memory seems ok. When entering Advanced Task Killer Free, there is just 65MB of memory available. All apps are installed on ext4. Is that something expected, and if not, what should I clean? Thanks. Update - I switched to 3.2 beta (disabling compcache in the process) - around 100MB available, and no lags (compared). Cool! Edited February 13, 2010 by Smilgs
Guest Decaux Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 How do I choose where I install my apps? I think I formatted my 16gb sometime last fall. And the sound for my alarm clock wont go off with the newest ROM, any advise?
Guest irishandrew Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Hi Paul, I've read in your twitter that WaveSecure has released a new version. I've got included in my baked rom. Could you tell me how to update it. Hi Romdan, Wavesecure are supplying update.zip's now after some assistance from Paul :-) Just download it from the link below, put it on your storage card and flash it from your recovery image like you would when installing a ROM or a Radio. http://www.wavesecure.com/installations/update.zip I updated mine yesterday without issue (you'll notice a new icon - incidentally I prefer the old one...) -Andrew
Guest nicandris Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 hmmmmm by the way, update from 3.1 to 3.2 is a wipe needed?

Guest Bajani Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Hi, I updated from 3.1 to 3.2 today and I also miss the SenseUI. Is there something special to do when updating to a kitchen made ROM? I'm encountering a problem when trying to flash using a kitchen baked and hope you can help please Paul? After installation the setup process force closes as I press finish. This leaves me with no SenseUI. Everything else seems ok but Rosie has gone. I'm excluding: Voice Search Footprints Market Widgets Stocks Teeter Titanium Backup WiFi Status Indicator Everything else is default values. I've done a full wipe including cache. I've also re-downloaded the file and tried the whole process again but the same thing is occurring. Cheers mate. EDIT ------ Nothing to do with the kitchen sorry. It seems like RA-hero-v1.5.2 is not wiping for some reason. Will create another thread wabout this.
Guest whiteflash Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Hi, I updated from 3.1 to 3.2 today and I also miss the SenseUI. Is there something special to do when updating to a kitchen made ROM? Just baked a new rom and I too am having the problem with no Sense UI, never occured before this date with any of the 3.2 Betas (including 5), guessing somethings happened today to cause a problem?

Guest jjjack Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 At least it's not only me then, however I think there is slightly more to it that sense missing. Was beginning to think my hero was fnarged. ;)

Guest Paul Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Oops, when I ported the kitchen to the new kitchen system I swapped footprints and sense round, so building without sense left out footprints and vice versa! *slaps self* Fixed now! ;) P

Guest DJBenson Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Has anybody noticed a problem with the wifi toggle on MCR 3.2b5? The issue I'm having is that sometimes the wifi toggle get's stuck (so the animation continues indefinately) and when you look at the wifi status in the settings menu, it is in a state of "Turning off..." The only way I can get it to back is to reboot the phone which is annoying. Not sure if it's a bug in the firmware or an issue Locale is causing by cycling the wifi...

I left out Footprints, Market Widgets, Google Voice, Mail, Notes, Peep, Wifi Status and Wifi tethering... Doesn't happen all of the time, just occasionally.... Iain

Guest soulehs Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 MCR is still based on 1.5 cupcake. Won't be 2.1 until htc release it.
