my Data is stuck on EDGE after the 3.2 upgrade... It never changed to HSPDA nor 3G

also I don't have the option in settings " Enable EDGE to save battery"

can anybody confirm this???

it's has been writed before, modaco 3.2 is based on a 3 rom so no Enable EDGE to save battery

Has anybody noticed a problem with the wifi toggle on MCR 3.2b5?

The issue I'm having is that sometimes the wifi toggle get's stuck (so the animation continues indefinately) and when you look at the wifi status in the settings menu, it is in a state of "Turning off..." The only way I can get it to back is to reboot the phone which is annoying.

Not sure if it's a bug in the firmware or an issue Locale is causing by cycling the wifi...

+1 on this, don't think its due to locale though, I'm pretty sure I had this problem before I used locale, and it also happens when I manually disable WiFi (after I manually enabled it too.)

I want to thank modaco for this great effort and rom.

I just flashed Modaco 3.1 custom ro to my hero and I made a clean flash. I formatted my 8gb class6 sd card to fat32 completely usiing HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool than I formatted it with AR-hero recovery 1.5.2 as fat32 and ext2.

It was working very well and ı installed all my apps. but sometimes , essipecially when ı have unread mails, senseUI force closes itseld and I have to restart to phone.

I used some different roms but ı had same issues.

24 hours running without Locale and it's deffo something in the ROM itself. BTW I've swapped to "Setting Profiles" which is like locale but 1/3 of the price and a bit more flexible with configurations - just not as pretty as Locale from a UI perspective.

Could this be the answer to the wifi issues? I certainly have this widget on my home screen but am going to remove it now to see if things improve.

I've been using b5 for quite some time and its been fantastic. However on Friday night I was at the pub and took my phone out of my pocket to find it was rebooting. I put it down to the beer and didn't think anything of it. Then last night I was in google maps, pushed voice search by accident, hit cancel and the phone rebooted to the hero logo with the android waving.

I will try and re-produce the problem if I can.

Otherwise great work as usual.

Strange. Suddenly started getting crashes today when using market enabler. Each time I try to change the provider in market enabler, the phone reboots. I have no idea what has happened, it has worked perfectly so far.

I want to rejig a few things in the ROM, update some bits and provide a non-ODEX option in the kitchen for RC1, then I think it's probably good enough to release. I'll try putting the 2G/3G switch back in then I see no reason not to make it final?

Wow!! Just put this on early this morning and I'm shocked how much better than 3.1 it is for speed and general laglessness (is that a new word??) Big thumbs up from me.

Having trouble with the WaveSecure beta app .... cooked into my ROM courtesy of your kitchen. Have set my 'buddies, entered my PIN but for some reason the application won't register with the WaveSecure servers .... keeps telling me that I have no internet access, when in fact I'm in a full signal area.

Have also tried the above when connected to WiFi with the same result. Guessing that something is astray with the WaveSecure app perhaps ? No other problems with the cooked ROM. Internet is working fine with all other app's. Oh, and have also applied the WaveSecure update - still no joy.

Any idea's when we will see the latest kitchen update ? Looking forward to being able to include custom .apk's for my next build .... Any other things we can be looking forward to ?
