You're right, 2.5 is not the culprit: I'm back to 2.2 and see no Camera ZOOM either. Perhaps it's because of the radio update ? I'll try to downgrade it.

No camera zoom app showing here either but I'm not convinced it was ever there - I wouldn't have known until now.

are talking about the "start menu" or the lock screen?

for the menu go to settings->applications->manage applications and delete the standards for "touch flo". then press home and select touch flo, make it standard.

just my suggestion, if you're really talking about the lock screen then i have no idea...

Sounds to me like you're using Android as your home screen rather than Sense UI.

Do Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Home > Launch by default > clear defaults.

Now when you press home it should ask you whether you want Home or HTC Sense to complete that action. Choose Sense (and select default if you wish) and you should be sorted.

Try to search for "autostarts" or "photo burst pro". Nothing is there anymore ! Even after a nandroid restore to 2.2 ??

Did they change something server-side or what ?

I bought "photo burst pro" yesterday, so it was fine yesterday. I'll try to restore a nandroid backup from yesterday.

... start menu ... once rebooted I simply go straight to the "old fashioned Magic look" (I have no idea about senses, touch.flo and the likes).

By the way, do I need to do reboots between radio and core and enhanced?

I am still using HTC Generic 2.73.405.5 and both of these applications appear fine. Flashing 2.5.x is on my list of things to do tonight!

Paul, what Market issue does 2.5.1 fix for you ?

I'm restoring old nandroid backups (of MoDaCo 2.2) and yet, can't see any protected apps anymore in the Market ! And it worked yesterday... Very strange !

Edit: even from a 4-day old backup, it doesn't work. The typical example is "PicSay Pro" (which I bought). Can't see it anymore.

Edit 2: Resolved ! It seems that the missing apps on Android Market was a temporary glitch on server side. It may have affected people who faked the T-Mobile USA (gsm.sim.operator.numeric = 310260). Nothing to do with Modaco ROMs !

Paul, need real help here!

I've been using 2.2 and 2.3 with no issues until now and now I flashed 2.5 (with newest radio) and it worked great but when I installed my Hebrew fonts as I always did the device got stuck on the "HERO" when first loading...

this is how I always installed the fonts (worked great with 2.2 and 2.3) in shell #:

mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system

cat /sdcard/DroidSans-Bold.ttf > /system/fonts/DroidSans-Bold.ttf

cat /sdcard/DroidSansMono.ttf > /system/fonts/DroidSansMono.ttf

cat /sdcard/DroidSans.ttf > /system/fonts/DroidSans.ttf

cat /sdcard/DroidSerif-Bold.ttf > /system/fonts/DroidSerif-Bold.ttf

cat /sdcard/DroidSerif-Regular.ttf > /system/fonts/DroidSerif-Regular.ttf

of course the hebrew fonts are on root sd.

I can flash back to 2.2 but would prefer 2.5 so be happy if you can help...

3rd 2.5 enhancement

then I rebooted and ...

2.5 is really fast!

Now I just need to see the 2.5.1 fix ...

solution!!!

flash 2.5 without the Hebrew and install root explorer.

open root explorer to where the Hebrew fonts are and copy all of them.

go to /system/fonts (outside of sdcard folder) and remount it with write permissions (small button top-right).

paste the fonts and reboot and here you go, Hebrew on MoDaCo 2.5 :)

hope this works for you too.

Edit: Update: Have booted with the 2.5 core version, Market works fine, all-in-all everything seems in place. Will upgrade to the enhanced version now.
