Omnia II is full of features, hope Samsung will fix video recording quality with a new rom update

Another great feature for Omnia II is Alarm auto power-up which sets the device to automatically turn on

and sound the alarm at specific time if the device is turned off....I don't think that this feature available in another WM phone :D

Windows Mobile 6.5 does not have API neither for accelerometer nor for digital compass but Samsung very soon most likely will release SDK with support for that compass.

After a small google search I found that a program VITO AstroNavigator II supports the latest GPS receivers with the digital compass and rotates the screen according to your heading to display the right picture of the sky above you. :D

I very furious to try it... but I can't right now!!! :angry: ;) ;)

Hopefully Google will update their streetmaps software to use the compass as with the HTC hero's android build & the iPhone's

The new ssdk has revealed does it support digital compass?? if someone can make a good skin for it it will be delightful

Edit: I just checked samsung innovator site and SDK 2.0 revealed and it now supports 3D Orientation means Compass!!

Nice so an official compass apps is coming soon!!! Hope google maps will update their apps too
