If you are using Push email, you will need to set your Active Sync schedule to something other than "As Items Arrive" in order to be able to turn off the data connection. (It will just keep reconnecting right after you disconnect it.) Also make sure you are not using any other data services like streaming music, video, etc.

It doesn't work on my XIIB3 cooked rom.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello fellas i got a request to port the new CommManager to Omnia according to this topic: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-port-to-omnia/ .

Thanks AssassinsLament for his great work over xda.

So here it is fully working!

Download: AIO__CommManager_Suite_with_WifiSharing_1_1__WQVGA__by_Sector_.CAB

Install to \My Device\ and ready to go

I hope everyone is happy now and can get some more beers for my work :) !

Cheers!!

Awesome Sector... just wish I hadn't already bought WMWiFiRouter... =( Good work, putting it all into one program.... I'll definitely use it if WMWiFi starts to suck.

do you think it would be possible to port the complete OMNIAII ROM on our I900?

:)

I guess you mean to port the TouchWiz 2.0 UI of i8000 to i900 Omnia. Yeah, I would love to have it on my Omnia too! But experts say that the Omnia hardware is not strong enough to run the new Touch Wiz. :D

But I strongly hope that sector will port some other good apps, e.g. the Touch Calendar what I like very much! (I could play with it shortly on my friend's Omnia II.)

Has anyone solved these problems everyone is having with this app.

Looks like alot of time went into it but considering all issues your time was wasted.

Sad, guess I will have to go with WMwifirouter. You pay for the support with that app.

I too have this same problem. I'm running BW 1.4 Night ROM. Just today, i upgraded to BW WM7 Blue ROM that has this cab cooked in, and again the same issue with my Vista computer. I did some investigating and I am able to connect to the WiFi network fine, but I am not able to get an IP address. Is it necessary to assign a static IP to my computer? If so, what subnet and gateway addy should I use? I am going to see about trying this on a Windows XP computer as well.

Sorry if I'm being ignorant of another thread that might cover the requirements. I.E. The possible need for a static IP setting on the WiFi card on the computer, etc.

Any resolution for this issue guys. I am running BW WM7 Black ROM and I am unable to connect to the internet as well.

Hi

Nice work, but I can see text only on "Mobile Wi-Fi Router" connection. All other options work fine, but no text is shown in the Comm Manager App.

I installed it on the device memory, spanish rom.

Do you have any hint?

Thanks in advance

Great solution, but I get the following error-messges:

There is no available Internet connection. Do you want to setup the Internet connections ....

What are the preconditions (e.q. Network Name like "The Internet" or "My Internet") to run Wi-Fi Router? Where are the definitions, which "connections" will be used by the WiFi-Router?.

It seems, that some configurations related to the Network-Settings are missing. But Internet Explorer and Email are working fine to the Internet.

Device Omnia i900 with a Build from Steff195 (28002).

I would appreciate some help!
