Guest bartveld Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 hey dude you have exactly the same topic on the first page off this forum Yeah, I get mixed up with all the forums I'm on. install advance config tools I know the trick, but advanced config won't work on the Omnia 2
Guest wiggy6230 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Try this, its not quite disabling the sent notification but silences your notification. http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...t-notification/ Cheers, Wiggy
Guest bartveld Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 The Message Sent notification is tied to your MMS alert. Remove the sound/vibration for MMS and it'll remove for Message Sent as well. Do you mean that this worked for you? In Sounds and Notifications I only have MMS/Message/E-mail Received, no mention of Message Sent. Also, in the SMS-MMS overlay of Samsung there are MMS Settings to be found, but nothing about notifications (besides, the pop-up of Message Sent looks very Windows). Every now and again I feel Samsung has been messing with WM without offering proper replacement of certain functions.
Guest wiggy6230 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Hi, I still the get visual notification, but no sound which was the main thing for me. Wiggy
Guest ashleeee Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Hi, I still the get visual notification, but no sound which was the main thing for me. Wiggy I think for H3 firmware, the notification is no longer tied to mms. So u will get the tone same as ur sms tone. Crap.
Guest jaya7 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Go To: HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Inbox > MsgTypes > IPM > SMSText Change: DLL value htmlnote.dll Then: Soft reset. Then again, Go To: HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Inbox Settings Change: MMSNoSentMsg name to SMSNoSentMsg Change: SMSNoSentMsg value to 1 Then: Soft Reset
Guest bartveld Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Go To: HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Inbox > MsgTypes > IPM > SMSText Change: DLL value htmlnote.dll Then: Soft reset. Then again, Go To: HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Inbox Settings Change: MMSNoSentMsg name to SMSNoSentMsg Change: SMSNoSentMsg value to 1 Then: Soft Reset That worked. Thanks.
