Hi there guys. Great rom i love it. but i have one problem, since your rom 23081, my phone has been sending two txt messages wen it only says its sent one. i have checked with my service provider and they said its come from the phone twice. i thought i may hust be that rom but your 23504 and 23506 roms have done it aswell

is there anyway to fix this??

hi! i've had that problem also with some ROMs. i suggest you to hard reset, than flash rom again without sim card inside omnia. then hard reset again. when the phone finds your card and asks if you want to set your network automatically say "yes". than go to settings/operator settings/choose provider other than yours and OK. go back to operator settings anf choose YOUR operator. soft reset and enjoy (if it works :))

As an alternative you can try to flash your phone part again.

jmsmartins, thanks for the feedback but i have found the problem! it happens when i close messages program before it has sent and decides to send two meesages with couple minutes inbetween each other. if i wait until it has sent and close it is fine. i believe it is only happening now because on the X it now closes completely, where as before it would stay open and i would close it in task manager, so i am going to install ever app and put messages on the list and hopefully it will work!

I have a issue with the scrolling it may not be considered as a problem but bothers me..

When I open a menu (for example on the file explorer) and a long menu appears, I had to press for 2-3 seconds and then scroll in order to scroll. If I just swipe the finger in the menu the background application is the one that scroll.

i think that the rom has both windows mobile 6.5 and Samsung scrolling running an the same time please tell me how to deactivate Samsung scrolling capabilities

I believe i have found a fix for the double sms problem! if you are told that your txts are sent twice, hopefully i have found the problem and the solution! it is caused by showcase for some reason, because when you close messaging before the message has sent it decides to send it again about 10 mins later. This is because now hen you tap X is closes the whole program down rather than minimizing it. all you have to do is edit the registry a little for showcase. i have found a good little program that lets you edit the registry from pc so it is easier called CeRegistryEditor which you can find here http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/

The value you must edit is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase\ExcludeProc

In that value there will be a list of program exe's and add to that list in the same way tmail.exe

after this save the registry in the program and then soft reset your phone and it should be fixed!

That's not going to be possible, it's in the Samsung .dll's. I believe it was discussed in Sector/QBUS/Khuanchai ROM (Sectors old thread), some months ago.

You can do a search there if you like...

I am running the 23506 version and I have a problem answering calls.

When a call comes in and the phone is locked if I slide the answer button the call goes straight to message bank if I use the answer hardware button on the phone it answers OK.

Not sure if this is a setting I have wrong or if it is a problem with the wm6.5 lockscreen program.

Hi xeeder, nothing at this point. You need it if you want install anything during the cooking process. Just get a copy of the cab and put it into the XDA_UC folder and it will automatically install for you... As Nick would said.. "Silently.."  :) :D

I have a problem. I'm running build 23504 and I installed Opera Mobile 9.7b1. It starts ok, it connects to internet, etc. but after a while of browsing it just closes. I don't understand that. Is there any way to fix it?

Hello. I have the same problem, but running build 23506 and I've changed to Opera 9.5 and the problem persists. With Internet Explorer there is no problem just with Opera. Is there a solution please? Everything else works perfect. Thanks

Was checking out some new phones and had a look at our trusty i900 and I couldnt believe it, theyre now available for $220 australian dollars.

No need to freek out when flashing anymore these phones cost peanuts now.

Flash worry free!!(unless your broke)!!

@SB, where did you find our trusty little Omnia for $220 in OZ? The best I have seen is $400+... :)

@Nick, its ok about the office... Loving the ROM too much to change just because M$ messed up with their office product.. :D
