FloTanium ROM (M2D + Neo). HIDE23 (Final release?)

i tried your rom, and it has german xt9.

however, the right bottommost corner with the "X" somehow doesn't respond as normal, only on the 3rd or 4th try.

i flashed again and the same problem ocurred.

before the flash this didn't happen.

could it have something to do with me not flashing a phone.bin since i already have the newest one?

edit: i just flashed another rom, and now it works again. strange.

edit 2: just flashed your other rom (23509 M2D) and the same part of the screen not working

i realize this is terrible. i'm sorry for wasting your time. but i have been reading these forums for a while. I'm looking to try out your rom. i'm having problems with dling it. it fails at the eboot. what am I doing wrong? :D

I have the XTRA_GPS and CALLLOG of the 506-ROM and now they are in your 509-ROM, but I can not find the phonebook.

Phonebook should be in the startmenu (it is in my phone).. Or is it the Omnialite Phonebook you want??

just testing 28004, i'll let you know if the freeze bug is still there. If not i'll prolly release it paralell with 23509, think the 28*** is faster :D . I wasn't that impressed with the speed of 23509....

just put your rom on after ~3 months of not bothering to update,

its a great rom (non-lite this is) - only thing i have an issue is when typing - it seems to lag a bit - like it will only type 3 letters of a 5 letter word etc

there a fix i can do for this or something?

Don't think it's a fix but you can try installing a different keyboard and see if that helps. I think it's in the builds though, it was a massive problem when the new ui came out (23025+). Otherwise try installing Touchresponse (attached), it helped early builds.

will try that later if it happens again - just reset phone and its all good - maybe i didnt reset it after the flash - cannot remember

Can anyone with this rom confirm me the showcase...the program for closing aplications is working?¿?

I always "play" and install a lot of things and i don´t really know it it´s something i did or not becuase...all the programs maintain opened :D ....

go HKCU/Software/e-natives Technology/Showcase , check that SUITE_CloseOnTap is set to 1 (0 makes it minimize). From what i can recall it worked ok for me, but not 100% sure..

BTW, you've defo got the best looking omnia around, i'm always curious to see your next "creation". You got any good Xmas themes??

The next time keep the cooker screen after flashing... ;) it´s a custom rom...don´t forget your rom...(just my opinion :D :D )

28004 FloTanium is ready for download!! Not sure if it's working ok, i've had major problem uploading it (took hours) so file might be corrupt (Wouldn't be the first time :( ).

EDIT: just downloaded it and it seems to extract ok.. :D

28004 is much faster than anything before but i think battery life had to suffer... Time will tell!! No Sleep bug present. GPS works in google maps, not sure about IGO8 or similar...

Due to internet connection problem the FloLite and other lite roms will be uploaded tonight or tomorrow, not sure....

i can confirm that google maps is working fine.

The only aplication that i miss in this ROM is cleanRAM :D but i've d/l it already and now ROM is perfect :(

The only this is that for iGO i have to chabe com port in setting of phone and then it works fine. Google maps is working too.

well i use Nav N Go iGO8 and its works fine

GARMIN XT works fine too

Chef,

any chance of getting your start menu program layout? I'm using sector's latest work and it has some hexagons on it and I will like to have it without and also the bigger icons are pretty cool, I see there is a cab for smaller icons but not sure what it would do to current rom if I install them, although what I would like is the big icons with no hexagon surrounding them.

just reporting MSN weather widget not working on 28004, i get a blank screen when opening the program. Don´t really care about that as I don´t use it but just giving some feedback.

i did install FTouchSL, I think it improves scrolling in some menus, like scrolling down and emails for example, I'm also holding back installing Touch Response as it seems to be working pretty good without it.

very good job, it really is fast like you said Chef, to early to report on battery life for me.

at first I would like to thank you for your great work and effort with all of this stuff, really appreciate It :D I had Manilla M2D for ages but It was a bit "half finished" so I decided to try this latest one on Sunday. Everything is very advanced but I am experiencing a problem and It's that phone often freezes when screen shuts down in a power save mode after one minute, no response, no sounds and I have to soft reset It. Phone itself is in a reachable mode but I can't see anything on screen and no rings or any other sounds at all when called at the time. Just got a "call" from my boss but phone was happily asleep :( not to mention that my boss wasn't so happy, haha.

Anyone has the same problem?

Since i started flashing i've been almost exclusively on Sector's roms and they are amazing but started getting buggy the more things i installed. Touchflo started getting nuts, reinitializing after anything, even looking at mail, anything. Downloaded your 28004 because you said it is fast. My God but it is fast! Amazing fast! Thank yyou for your hard work.

So far I haven't had a chance to check everything out, the only thing that popped up immediately is that finger keyboard doesn't work i get an error message to reinstall. I need it for hebrew. Any recommendations as to on Phone or storage?

Another thing i noticed immediately is the battery. Now with my previous rom the battery indicator (%) was very innacurate; after a few seconds of disconnecting from a full charge it would show 79% and hang there for quite a while and with wifi, bluetooth it would drain after half a day!

With 28004 so far (4 hours of mild use with wifi on) it is still showing FULL charge. So either the battery on 28004 is going to be amazing or it is simply very innaccurate. Time will tell.

I can confirm that windows live does not work and so hotmail account cannot be added :D

Battery meter massively innaccurate: jumps from full to 80% to 60% to 40 %. On the other hand battery life seems very good.

Installed the only cab of smart reader that worked flawlessly on other roms and same thing happened here that happened previously with other roms= camera has stopped working :(

finger keyboard not working gives "invalid URI: the hostname could not be parsed"

*two hard resets later windowslive working.
