Guest Nicklashidegard Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Nicklas, Great job. I'm just waiting my omnia come back from assist (gone there cz a bad flashing with grandprix), and i'll flash it with your rom. But there is a few questions i'd like to do: 1. Is there any issues with the BT in this Rom? What are they?? And if is there so, what exactly should I do to get around the problem? 2. JBlend is in or out? You said "Back in" then "removed" than "Added"... i don't know what is the last info... 3. Can i install - after flashing - the All-in-one package for B7300 Lite Dialer + Phonebook + Call Log. from Muncheno? This would define these apps as default. Would cause any damage to the functionality of the rom? 4. Is there some cab or other way to put the M2D in portuguese? Preferably in brazilian pt (if not so, the Portugal-Portuguese is also welcome) 5. I didn't see, in any post, comments about the touch quality. Is there any adicional software that i would have to install to improve it? If it is so, how do i do that? Thanks anyway! 1. as far as i know there are no issues with BT (i use a handsfree in the car all the time) 2. Jblend is Included 3. Is there a All in one package?? It should work as those 3 apps are not in my rom 4. for translated M2D see HERE. 5. i think touch is good but not evryone agrees. Install FTouchSL or itouch**** (cant remember). I never install 3rd party touch software and never have any problems with touch.

Guest Talishte Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 I dunno strange. Never seen that before :D I think the samsung keypad is only working all black when you have language in keyboard set to english, in my case for example when I select spanish it goes back to default colors and also the letters or some signs are hard to recognize but this has happen with all custom roms I tried since the chefs use the black skin for keyboard. this is only when I select xt9 but I don't use that keyboard anyways... nothing beats touch pal. T. yep !!! no need to fix anything on 28005, is working great for me, I still have not found any bug in it.
Guest anochampions Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Look at my PEOPLE page!!! Where can i find the last version of M2DC? Edited November 30, 2009 by anochampions
Guest myi4u Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Thank you Nicklas for this great ROM. I was using Sector's ROM previously but i reckon that it was not as fast as Nicklas' ROM. No offence, Sector's ROM was also very nice and it's just that Sector has moved on from Omnia. Nicklas, there are one question and one request from me please. Question - After using this ROM for sometime, Manila2d home screen today's button did not take me to Titanium. Instead, it shows the dialer. I use TFConfig to update the left button of Manila2d but it did not work. I have to either soft reset or go to Settings --> Home, disable Windows Default and enable it back again. Request (In your next release) - In the Manila2D Settings --> Communications --> Data Connection, it brings us to the connections page. Would it be possible for you to bring us somewhere where we can disconnect our 3G network connection? I find it a bit troublesome to go to Menu --> Settings --> Connections --> Data Call Manager. **edit** I have created a Data Call Manager shortcut on the Programs section but it would be nice to have this request done **edit2** Just found out that there is a registry key to change the Data Connection to point to Data Call Manager. Apologies!! Thank you!!! Edited December 1, 2009 by myi4u

Guest anochampions Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) When i tab today (lest softkey) the phone freeze and i cant see the titanium screen. The only thing i can do is to tab today again and immediately tab TouchFlo in order to return to m2d page. Edited December 1, 2009 by anochampions

Guest kennethchia Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 There you go master nicklashidegard 28005 and 23509 which is better ??? :D
Guest Nicklashidegard Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) master nicklashidegard 28005 and 23509 which is better ??? :( Wearemike32 benchmarked builds with same OEM and same SYS setup.. Results were: 1. 28005 2. 23511 3. 23091 Confirms why 28005 seems faster (not as fast as 28004 but more stable). This is performace only and doesn't take battery like or stability into consideration.. But i've been running 28005 all week and it seems very good :D 28008 is out so i'll see if it's worth releasing or if it's just for testing ;) Edited December 2, 2009 by Nicklashidegard

Guest M_Imran Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I dont know if any one else has noticed it or not but after flashing with flotanium 28005, LED in power button is not working. Before that it used to show red light when charging and green when battery was fully charged. or may be i am just missing something. Otherwise it is a great ROM. Thanks for all the hard work done by master nick. :D :( ;) Imran
