is the issue with the camera fixed or does it still freeze up?

i`m curious, did the new kitchen add anything to the rom/omnia or is it a chef thing and a way of cooking to produce a similar rom as with the old kitchen ?

now i will open up a cold beer and flash my phone....

Touch wood....everything works now.. gps, camera, BT, Wifi + all other issues (Fingerkeyboard 2.1 cooked in and works!!)..

The new kitchen enabled LZX compression, but it was made for the i910, not our i900.. The only thing you gain is more free mem (this rom would have had 120mb free instead of 90mb with the same apps).. The speed of the rom is the same, so for most "normal" users it doesn't matter that much.. Personally it's something i would like to have, but i'm gonna make it work in the future :) ...

the only thing i wanted to ask is; How can i remove the big startmenu icons? i'd like to get back the default.

Alot of icons look ugly, pixelated to me. (not blaming chef)

i think u will overcome the LZX compression issue, i like the 120mb,it sounds like it will be a fast and clean rom.

the HIDE6 works nice did i not run into any prob with wifi ,3g, gprs. gps, camera and any app .....

keep on cooking man.....!, now shokka9 is taking a big break , you will be watched

I think this latest update is brilliant. Not a big issue but an inconvienience I have experienced. On the sAMSUNG FAVOURITES APP the sound settings doesn't seem to work. Is this related to the standard wm6.5 ring tones settings that are also not working. Any idea why this is the case? is it likely to work in updated roms.

All in all this is one slick rom and TFdetacher lets me flick back and forth to Online Widgets and Touchflo....nice.

Install the attached cab into device and restart and you'll have your small icons back.

@ Shreddo. To set a ringtone, navigate with fileexplorer to the ringtone of choice and tap and hold, in the menu that pops up click set ringtone.. All ringtones have been removed from this rom..

Yesterday "playing" with the omnia for finding a nice taskbar i overwirote it and i lost my start icon...and i don´t want to make hard reset....

In all fairness the auto-install didnt work for me so I went "commando" and did it myself!

The icons got replaced also as per last reply as I think they are much better small.

And the Detacher option is a pain to stick sometimes, small adjustments to the phone are enough for it to play up. So I have to reset it a couple of times as you mentioned.

cheers indeed. Pretty fast which was something I didnt think it would to start with.

Tha autoinstall only works if you've got a SD card and have a XDA_UC folder in the root of the sdcard (doesn't work in my storage).. Should work ok.. Did you get a window up to say that XDA_UC is installing?

And did you use the cab for the Left Softkey remap in titanium?? It's the only way to make it stick as it normally reverts back if the registry is not changed.. And the left softkey also reverts back to contacts if you have changed the right one in M2DC (i always have Galarm as right soft key in M2D).. If that happens, just go back into TFDetacher confic and change it back to Hide Touchflo..

Yah I did follow the steps as per instructions, it did say it was "going" to install but it just didnt, but to be honest its not an issue to me, mainly since I am sure I am to blame for it not going anywhere... :P

First I changed the softky manually, and did it so many times I was pleased the reg, sorted it! So yeah it solved it, but still, every so often the key reverts back, or more, it actually says "Today" (for example) but it goes into my dialler. :)

Minor things to be honest so far, I will keep it coming!

I have got igo8 and it works fine there (and also in google maps). It must be a setting in Garmin that needs to be changed... dunno where, cos i havent got Garmin. ..

Might need a bit of fiddling..

Just one thing...i have tried one 23053 and really ...i don´t see any big improvement...also i have problems with the themes(just wm 7 gor 23049 is working well)...and ...until now i haven´t got any taskbar that works for 23053..i guess the new buttons are the problem...

Instead of all ...we have won somehing...one program for closing the programs and not minimizing...i guess you know it(!i leave it in your post ...maybesomeone wants to install it in the XDA_UC folder :D ...
