Guest IronFox Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 That's because the Samsung dialer is not included in this ROM. If you want to go back to it then you will need to install it. Thanks, but unfortunately the only cabs I can find are for the older roms before the taskbar at the bottom and dont work properly. Know where I can find a newer one?
Guest AT39 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I can't seem to find where to download the shokka9 keyboard or the hartv527. Or the samsung dialer for that matter. Does anyone have links, or am I just missing something obvious?
Guest blazingwolf Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Blazingwolf, What is the application that you put in that allowed the wifi router functionality? Can that be installed via a cab? Thanks, Dewain Yes, it is available in the main Omnia forum here. :)

Know where I can find a newer one? That was the reason the Samsung dialer is not included in my ROM. There are no i900 or i910 dialers that work correctly in this ROM. I did post an English fix for the i8000 in the main forum that works on our phone. You will also need to install the Phonebook and call log from Samsung if you want those buttons to work.

The Shokka9 keyboard is over on Samsung-Omnia. http://www.samsung-omnia.org/shokka9%27s-k...e82e5c950eb99c7 The hartv427 keyboard I believe is in his thread in this forum. Samsung dialers are all over the place.
Guest VLegacy Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) Love your work, BW. Just switched from Night to this... still getting used to some of the keyboard/app/interface changes, but liking it great so far. Also, in case there are still people out there who can't get GPS to work with Google Maps et al, even after turning location on, soft resetting, and possibly messing about with "Managed by Windows"/Manual Settings, I had to install the latest VZ Navigator and use it to get a lock before Google Maps could do so. Now Google Maps can find plenty of satellites and lock on just fine. Thanks for all your hard work developing and supporting Rock and Republic, Night, and this! Edited October 12, 2009 by VLegacy

One more question, is there a way to map the call button to an outside dialer app such as idialer?
Guest blazingwolf Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Thanks for the info. One more question, is there a way to map the call button to an outside dialer app such as idialer? There is a program called Green Button that will do this. I believe it is by the same person that did iDialer.

Guest flanker1743 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Hey BW, After using the ROM and after a lot of texting, I've noticed one thing. When a message is coming in, it seems to hang a little bit. Didn't know if that was just me or not, but I figured I'd pass it along. No other problems I've run into so far. :-)

I hope to figure out why it is locking devices up requiring a hard reset.

Guest blazingwolf Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 @all, Keyboard from the Omnia Lite works on our device and it is a QWERTY keyboard. It can be found here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-for-i900-i910/
Guest doitall76 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 BW, Phenomenal ROM. I am one of those that was scared of the change of the keyboard, but I actually love the Incite keyboard. This thing runs extremely well. Thank you, I am happy. Doitall76

Guest Mikeeeeee Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Hey BW, I love your ROMs. The only problem I have is that iContact, never gets to work, which i use for google voice. Is there any way you can supply the .tsk files for your themes? They're pretty nice and clean.
Guest Mubbly Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) BW.. I installed your rom and was really impressed. Nice touches everywhere, feels very polished! I had two problems.. -Was apparently sending double texts to people -My internet connection wouldn't work. Couldn't establish internet interpreter.connection line 6 (\program.. would appear when I would update weather. I tried to look through for a fix, but didn't see anything. Thanks! Guest chogram Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I just wanted to let you know that since my first flash of your rom, I have tried 3-4 others, and none have been as fast and stable as yours. Keep up the excellent work :) (I just hope this doesn't jinx me hehe)
