Guest blazingwolf Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Hey BW, I love your ROMs. The only problem I have is that iContact, never gets to work, which i use for google voice. Is there any way you can supply the .tsk files for your themes? They're pretty nice and clean. iContact does seem to have issues. Not a lot I can do about that. The blue theme is from Jeffrey2000 and is available in the main forum. The black theme is from m.carroll and is available on XDA-Developers.com. I have not made cab files of the mods that I did.
Guest blazingwolf Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 BW.. I installed your rom and was really impressed. Nice touches everywhere, feels very polished! I had two problems.. -Was apparently sending double texts to people -My internet connection wouldn't work. Couldn't establish internet interpreter.connection line 6 (\program.. would appear when I would update weather. I tried to look through for a fix, but didn't see anything. Thanks! Never seen the double text message issue before. Do you use a third party program? Data connection has been talked about over the last couple of pages. You can do a hard reset and it should set up or you can enter it manually. The number to dial is #777. You do not need to enter a username or password. Then when you try to connect a popup will show and you just check save password and connect.
Guest blazingwolf Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I just wanted to let you know that since my first flash of your rom, I have tried 3-4 others, and none have been as fast and stable as yours. Keep up the excellent work :) (I just hope this doesn't jinx me hehe) I'm glad you like it. :(
Guest rcicu Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 BW, I Love your black theme! What do you use to edit the WM 6.5 .tsk? I have ThemeGenCE but it doesn't look like it wants to play nice w/ 6.5... Thanks
Guest rcicu Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) Okay I think I figured out how to modify the 6.5 themes using WinCE Cab Manager I hope you don't mind BW I made a small change the menus in your theme. I used all the same images so you need BW's latest rom for the new this theme to work. Thank you for your awesome hard work!!!Screen01.bmpBW_black_theme_standard_menus.rar Edited October 14, 2009 by rcicu

I have never found a way to make ti work every time.

I currently use it on Blue 6.5 because I like having "the latest". Not sure if there is an advantage to using it over 6.1 since I use MS3.5. If I went back to 6.1 do I need to flash back to CC20?

The newer gui versions have only small issues. A 10 pixel line at the bottom of the screen that is not themed correctly and no direct access to the start menu. Other then that it should work fine.

Guest vslon90 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 how do i remove the large menues and buttons like these
Guest mdkpnj Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 BW, is it possible you could do a version of your blue rom with EZInput kicked in. I know about the camera button problems. It just seems to the best full keyboard that takes up less of the screen. Fingerboard covers the start button area. The new Sammy Omnia Lite keyboard seems to be flaky with XT9 -sometimes it works and sometimes not and I can't get a space to go in after i select a word. The standard Omnia keyboard is good but takes up a lot of screen space. EZInput seems the best compromise. Do you you know of any where I can have my cake and eat it to. Lower profile, XT9, doesn't cover the start button, full qwerty. Thanks!!!
Guest BobDawg Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I saw this on a friends phone and liked the aesthetics of it but I still like my hartv427 WM6.5 build 23047. I really liked your choice for "welcomeheader.96.png"; Could someone attach a copy of it for me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks, BobDawg

I can confirm that the reset sets everything right, so if you run into the data issue it might just behoove you to hard-reset the system. It also seemed to fix some responsiveness issues I think I had. (nothing concrete or anything BW, just "seemed" to be weird things that are now gone after the reset. Could be placebo effect too though :) )
Guest BobDawg Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Here you go. :) Looks perfect; Thanks. :(
