Guest blazingwolf Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Hey wolf, flashed your rom, looks great so far with one personal issue. no predictive text. are there any keyboards available/in the making that are capable of using predictive text? im sure this question has been answered but i didnt find it in my quick glance of the 52 pages. Hmm, the LG Incite Keyboard I am using in this ROM has XT9. Did you enable it?
Guest blazingwolf Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Been away for awhile, just did the latest black flash and getting "problem with bluetooth hardware" when trying to pair my bt earpiece Don't think anyone else has had an issue with this. Have you tried a hard reset just to check?

Guest dhishi Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) Interesting and looks like the best out there. I am thinking of flashing but need the following assistance. I am using the CF03 software as obtained from Verizon. 1)How do I unload my current ROM so that if anything goes wrong I can go back. 2)Will this work with my Omnia i910 and I would still get connection to the Data/SMS/MMS of Verizon 3)Is there any issues with the Bluetooth - mine works fine 4)Does the package include Office Apps. If not where can I get it. I use that a lot and need that for sure. Edited November 14, 2009 by dhishi

None. 4. Yes.

I can get WIFI going but not data with Verizon. 2)How to hide the top row where you have clock, battery, connection. There are a lot of application that require input from the top and with the top row always staying on top you canot have access to input in these applications. The older ROM had the top row behind the current running application 3)I cannot get PRL updates too Edited November 14, 2009 by dhishi

Guest dragonriot Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Ok BW... I've got an issue... I've dropped my omnia one too many times, and knocked out the alignment of the touch screen... This has happened before and I usually just go back into the alignment configuration program, but apparently, you have removed that program from your rom... any chance there is another way to realign this screen, or do you have a link to a screen alignment cab file?

The screen alignment tool has not been removed. It is in Start/Settings/System/Screen.

Can you give a little more details as I do not have "manage existing connections" as an available option. All I have is as follows : Add a new modem connection Add a new VPN server connection Set my proxy server I can't update my PRL anymore.

Perform a hard reset and it should set up correctly. 2. Create a new modem connection. Call it Broadband Access. Number to dial is #777. Leave username and password blank. After saving then try to connect to the internet with Opera or PIE. When the Username/Password screen comes up check save password and then save. You should now connect to the internet.

I tried dialing *228 and both 1 or 2 gives error. Any idea ? Loving every inch of this ROM - very intuitive interface.
Guest rpmm70 Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 was anyone able to install and get the Pandora Cab file working after installing the BW WM6.5 Blue Rom? I have it installed but they keyboard does not show. So I cant input my account information or even search for a song.. :-( I have gotten it to work on the Black Rom, so it should work on the Blue Rom. And I have not had any keyboard issues. I attached the cab that I am using.Pandora_v1.cab

Guest dragonriot Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 (edited) Is this an issue with 6.5, my omnia, or the Black ROM? By the way, this only happens in the appointment screen, and I'd really like to get it fixed because I actually use my appointment calender occasionally. Edited November 15, 2009 by dragonriot

Strange - I am using the Black ROM and it does not happen to me. Although one thing that is very irritating is when you are on call, the phone keeps on vibrating. I am also having issues in dialing an extension from the keypad. Keypad gets locked.
Guest MASTANA20 Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 i can't seem to get out of the "location On" screen for somereason. i go into to turn it on but when i click on ok it wont respond but when i press end key it will come back to main page but i dont' if my gps is working or not.

I have the Black ROM too and I don't have that problem. I would suggest to try reflashing. For the vibrating and keypad locking during a call. That is because of the Auto Call Locker and this has been address many time in this thread. It is vibrating because it is locking and unlocking and to get the keypad to unlock, you need to turn the phone a certain amount to the left or to the right. You can change the setting for the vibration and the degrees to turn the phone if you go to Start -> AutoCallLocker

As far as I know, this is a known issue for this WinMo build and a few of the past ones. The way to get around this is to set one of the buttons to <OK/Close> and use that to close the GPS settings page.

I changed the setting of the accelerometer from the default 60 to 90. Will play around to see what is the best setting that is comfortable.

I checked out a friends phone which is does not have a cooked rom and his phone does get the PRL programming. I always get a message saying : "Plse hold on while we check your phone. I am sorry your phone cannot be programmed at this time. Please call on our customer support respresentative at (800)..... for assistance" There must be a setting in the original CF03 ROM had that authenticates for the PRL programming. My fear is if I do not get the PRL working I might need to go back to CF03 to ensure my phone can be programmed for service issues.

BW's rom didn't change any of the phone's information, only the Windows Mobile OS. I'm running BW's Black rom and successfully completed a PRL update just a second ago. *228 option 2
