Guest auhckw Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Is the email send and receive properly with this version? My email header is downloaded, but when i click for it to download the entire email, it doesn't seem to move. Can't send email. It doesn't move and showed no error, just doing nothing. Related to sending email, how do I change the port number for smtp?

Guest draveostream Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Hello, I have just got the links for I8000XXIH5 Rom. Is tested see few posts below :) This rom has lots of languages build in. PDA: I8000XXIH5 CSC: I8000FAMIH4 PHONE: i8000DXIH2 Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?tlgzytyqdz3 http://www.mediafire.com/?yqwyumdmzzm http://www.mediafire.com/?zywmzinbwjz http://www.mediafire.com/?uvdynxdknma http://www.mediafire.com/?5jzuh1jtlny http://www.mediafire.com/?3huzmjhdmjj http://www.mediafire.com/?kwkgk00qadm Rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/278756636/XXIH5_.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/278746891/XXIH5_.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/278732358/XXIH5_.part3.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/278719902/XXIH5_.part4.rar The available RAM memory is about 70mb same as I8000XXIH3. It seems that the G firmware has about 90mb memory free. Screenshots thanks to PREVIA. Part04 gives a CRC error. You can ignore this error as flashing is working fine. Have Fun. Regards, GT Edit: Added new text. I downloaded the firmware from the above mediafire links, extract out the files. It only consists of octans.exe and four other files. Double click on the octans.exe and selected the files for eboot, csc, mst and phone. Connect my phone to computer with XP SP3, but the "start downloading" button does not allow me to click.. How to upgrade the firmware? Thanks.

Guest tinz Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Hi guys , I'm from Thai. I'm intend to flash the ROM but wondering if flashing ROM will erase all of my native language ie. Thai keyboard , reading Thai from SMS or web. If it's not , how should I do with Octan? Where should I mark ? where should not? According to some advise , he said Quoted (if you don't update the given csc file, it will not update language file! So you will have again your old multilanguage file form the old version!) Unquoted Is it workable to do above method?
Guest maxw3l Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I get device.exe crashing every time i make a phonecall - it doesn't seem to affect anything though. Anyone else have this issue?
Guest gertitombo Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I've asked the same question myself few post back, #64 but no reply... I have no problems with sending e-mails with MAPI protocol. Also downloading the headers first, then I can download full message without any probems. Are you using POP or MAPI protocol? GT
