Changes in Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23060 and Build 23420:

Email folder in Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile gets new colored icons.

Improved browsing experience on Internet Explorer Mobile.

Definitely more faster and responsive than the last leaked Build 23053.

Faster boot time.

Build 23420 has the new contacts app.

Build 23060 has the menu eye candy but not the new contacts app.

Incorporates the updated GUI from the later COM3 builds into COM4.

Better memory management.

CABS for Lioryte's Base ROM:

I am not the original programmer of any files listed. In some cases some .cab files were modified by me and in some cases I took some .exe files I liked and made them into a .cab file. I would like to thank the original programmers for making them.

Please keep in mind that while I try to keep all of the cab files updated, some will be out of date. Also, for any special requests please PM me or look 'em up online

Titanium Cabs (Installs to memory)

Contacts

CCommunication

CDigiClock

CHeroClock

Samsung Apps

Clock

which clock is it that flip over and do you have it?

thank for all the hard work here!

CHeroClock and CDigiClock both have a flipping animation, albeit not as smooth as the HTC devices.

Gotta say, big fan of Lioryte's base 23060. It's good to see a ROM free of crap. Switched over from BlazingWolf's, who does good work but I just didn't want the dialers and such to look the way his does.

Surprising to see that, from what Microsoft released today, they're not using the more recent versions with the start menu on the bottom. I wonder if when the official 6.5 gets cooked it'll be a downgrade.

The build versions we are using are from 6.5.1 which is supposed to come out next year sometime. We have been cooking "official" 6.5 versions for months and have moved past them.

Mr Lioryte, I really want you try your 23060 but when I try to flash I get a file error right out of the shoot. It erases what is there, tries to load then pops up with file error. I got this on both the 23060 and 23420. I can flash all of Mr. BW's builds without incidence but have no idea what might be the issue here - is it the i910 or something with the download file? I made an assumption to rename your down loaded build to extension .bin based on a previous post. You have any advice? You think it is my phone, the downloaded file or something else. I haven't seen any posts suggesting the same problem so guess I am "special." After I get the error and the phone locks up I have to unplug from the PC, then remove the battery to get it to shut down, then I reloaded Blazing Wolf's latest build to get back in business. I might add, even with BW, which I like very much and can see how much thought and pride he has put in his ROM, my phone periodically just shuts down and I have to do a power-on. Don't have a clue what THAT means, either. Maybe if BW reads this, he may provide a suggestion or two to me with that particular issue. Even with some issues I love the outcome of everyone's work. I have been in IT for over 25 years and I wouldn't even think about attempting what you guys do. I just sit in amazement and enjoy the fruit of your labor. Thank you.

You need to extract the file with a program like winRar (rarlabs.com) This will yeild the .bin that you then flash with..

Thanks-

I have never encountered an issue like that before. The files are .bin and are 7zip compressed. Once you open them use UMDL to upload them but I don't know what can be causing the issue maybe you can post a screenshot/ file error so I can try to see what I can do.

V23064 is for download.

New in this Version:

Newest mortscript- V4.3b15- This won't pop up at startup

Titanium is set to show on startup pictures, music, clock, calendar and CHome for a cleaner look. Other panels can be enabled using CHome Editor.

This build seems faster than 23060.

Still the top taskbar is inactive, I'm looking into it to see what can be done- This seems to be a build issue

The new Contacts menu is build in

Necosino, that was exactly the problem. I did not even look at the file type. Mia culpa. Thanks for indulging me.

After loading I get aa_atplugin_installer.mscr error message: There is no application associated with "aa_atplugin_installer". Every time I reboot this pops up. Any way to fix/remove this?

Tapping OK removes it but it's annoying.

I built w/ Wozzer's 23064 update and the taskbar is functioning fine. If you ported your own, compare it to his update.

OK I was able to download a good copy finally!

Anyhow, as well as the start up error, there seems to be an issue with the start menu... shortcuts dont want to appear for me there at all.

This is for CHome...I'll look into this this is working fine for me but I did encounter this one time before and a soft reset fixed it. I'll look into this
