The screen calibration did work. When I was using BW rom it seemed to have no affect.

I only flash once every 2 to 3 months due to the fact that I work alot and I need my Omnia to be functional. Sashimi sounds like a great app but I like to install my apps one at a time to achieve maximum stability (used XDA_UC a few times and it never stable).

Only reason I'm flashing now is I dropped my phone off a second story balcony (it was in shirt pocket while I was leaning over) and it never turned back on. Good thing I keep my important data and contacts backed up on the microSD, which I just popped out and threw it into my replacement.

BTW, since BW moved on to the Droid I had to find another rom to use and your roms is a great alternative.

Thank you big time for still supporting the Omnia.

I also use the phone for my business. That's the reason I use Sashimi it took me too long to set the phone...

Sashimi is just mortscript that installs your apps at alphabetical order, there is no difference between manually install and Sashimi.

BW is moving on but he will be posting one last ROM soon, just FYI

great ROM. i just got my omnia replaced last week and i was hesitant to try 6.5 again. however, i didnt want to get obsoleted by sticking with 6.1, so i searched through the forums and stumbled upon this one. everything seems to be working great - thanks for sharing it with us

trying to get Tellme to work on this rom but so far its a NO go.

I read that you need Voice Command (which I have) and NetFramework 3.5.

My question is, what version of netframework do you cook in your roms?

I'm using 28008

All new builds have NetCF3.5- That's what in them. I never ran TellMe. Can you please link me and if someone was able to get it up and running please share

I'm installing to device memory as well. When I run the program and say a command like "call wifey" it just keeps thinking and nothing happens.

I want to use it to compose and send text msgs.

Edit: got it to call phone #s, but still a no go on composing and sending text msgs.

I went into the Regional settings and made a change and saved it. That seemed to resolve the date format.

Grieves - the FMRadio works great for me. No issue at all. I've been using since 28002 without issue.

Which cab do you use? The program launches when i have the headphones provided with the device plugged in and no error messages. Unfortunately no radio comes...:D

settings>System>regional settings>date will change it (will also disable day+time in lockscreen)

pic in lockscreen is the theme for now Microsoft won't let us change it

Lock screen is part of the new WM. There is no app to remove it other than not to cook it in. I think you are referring to S2U2 not the WM default lock screen it's not what's causing your battery drain.

@ All I've been busy today workin' (I do it from time to time :D ), I'll update to the new builds soon.

Also I'm not so happy with the lockscreen looking like it does If I can't fix it I will take it down.

I live in Colorado and a new law staring Dec. 1st OUTLAWS texting behind the wheel so I really want to get this going! So far all I can get is the "thinking" and nothing happens (like you described) how did you get it working to at least make calls? Im reading as much as i can about this and will report any findings. Im still on 23509 btw, if build makes a difference.

28011_V1 is ready for download at post 1

Release notes:

* Build date: December 3, 2009

* Still no WMP in lockscreen.

* OK button is still not working in settings>personal>phone. Map OK to a hard button.

* Since the day of the week wasn't working correctly in LockScreen (ie some days were seen cut) I took it out. I returned the previous day of the week .cpr file so it still showing on the clock panel but not on the LockScreen. I am still working to see if I can find a better fix.

* Added a new theme- lioryte green. ROM now has 2 exclusive themes. I didn't .cab them so I can keep them ROM exclusive.

* Lots of changes throughout the build, overall should be faster than 28009 so should be VERY fast and hopefully battery life management will continue to improve...

Microsoft Voice Command can be used to make voice activated phone calls. I have read its needed to use the tellme application.

I basically gave up on it until I'm ready to flash to another rom. Very curious to see if rom does matter but I'm not quite sure.

I'm getting terrible battery life on 28008 so I think I might flash over to 20011. Its just hard to find the time to do it, plus you seem to update your roms everyday which makes me feel like I should hold out for the next best.

Very glad to know you will be around awhile supporting the Omnia since I'm wating for the O2 to hit $50 or till April 2009 (NE2)/
