I still can't flash to your rom. I get a black screen. I still hear all the sounds though..

I can't tell you what it is since I never had this issue. I can guess you need to do one of the following: check that everything works (as far as drivers, flashing to another ROM) download the bin again and extract+Flash again. Or after getting a black screen maybe try a HR- (In a day I had over 70 d/l and you are the only one reporting this issue :D ) If you manage to pinpoint the issue please share

My situation I'm sure is isolated but I'll try to explain..

After doing a format of my "my storage" to clean house.

I flashed to your latest rom 28230, added the "new" XDA.

All worked great after a few false starts do to my error but all files in my SD XDA file did as they were suppose to.

When I tried to use IE, my modem failed. I reset all the modem settings as I have done several times in the past year.

Soft reset,no luck

Tried to do a hard reset (2 finger on phone button reset plus power switch ) never worked just rebooted like a soft reset.

Looked for but may have missed the hard reset option in "setting".

I then reflashed to my previous m2d rom, Storms, it did it XDA thing, soft reset.

I Never touched modem setting every thing worked great.

I hoping to get back to a Titanium style rom but could not figure out my issues after a couple of hours .

As for pressing the buttons, funny but don't press 'em hard for it to work :D

OK So now I remember what were some issues I had with xda_uc, one being it was killing my modem. So I HR and all works as it should. But until I get this resolved I'll have to cut the xda_uc .cab off and for now my ROMs are not xda_uc compatible :D

Other than that every function of the phone works 100% for me

When I flashed 28230, I noticed that after the startup sounds that the screen was black. I gave the power button a short tap and the screen showed the "tap the toolbar" (or whatever), so I tapped it and all has been fine.

I think my phone just wanted a quick nap.

This ROM is the fastest one yet, still accepts FM Radio and works with MSHTML set to 0.

I stil use WindowsLive_0409.PPC.cab, but for some reason my contacts did not update as they usualy did.

SKTools latest (4.5.1.3) restored my contacts, call log. Is there a dialer option that would have a smoother background and still use very little RAM?

Other than the dialer, this ROM ROCKS!

Fastest one yet, it's all 28230. I added the build report and the diffmerge files comparing to 28223 (latest one)

hey this is my first time installing one of lioryte's ROMs. I installed 28230 and now am unable to install "Epocrates". It's a medical application that requires syncing with a server to verify my subscription. I had no problem with adrenlynes or mrcapcom's roms, but I cannot get the program to sync with the server using this rom. Any ideas?

PS: thanks so much for the otherwise great ROM.

EDIT: this happens via wifi or via phone

EDIT 2: resolved. turns out there was a corrupted file on the phone, had nothing to do with the ROM. thanks!

running 28230 love the speed. But noticed something in text messaging when you go to reply it takes you to the message and then you have to rehit reply never did in 28223 any fix for this its almost like the sms cab that was to skin that area, but i never used it just a fresh flash and installed programs i use

figured it out must be new, if you get a text in it shows up like that then hit OK and its like it was

Try maybe the latest COM5- 23529, as this is an older version. I see no reason for it not to work but WMD branch 28XXX has some comp. issues ans 235XX is considered more "app compatible". I hope this works for you

I have had great luck installing apps on 23529. No issues except for the calendar sync issue I mentioned above (won't do more than 100 at a time). Still never heard...has anyone else heard of this issue or know of why it is happening?

for anyone itching to flash. 28223 has been rock stable, PEPPY, app-friendly AND a battery sipper. of course your mileage may vary.

im having random issues with the latest build. i can't exit the settings (especially the sound settings), phone thinks there isnt ringtones so i cant change any type of alert in the settings. i have to click reply twice for txts to actually reply. cant remember that i want keypad as my default. alarms cant be set within the next hour.

It randomly turned off trice already. Not shutdown. Just off, like if someone pulled the battery.

Downgrading to 28223. Not a big fan of this new build at all.

Did you get Text msg working? I am running same with SPB mobile shell and not getting txt msgs.

Sorry mon been away, No I haven't found a fix for the notification sounds but I haven't had the time to look either. it was said they have a fix in their forums. I will be checking there this weekend...

As of 2 days ago it will no longer ring when set to ring it just vibrates... Of course, unless I soft reset then i will get sounds for a few hrs

I don't know why it isn't working, but I can't get a different lockscreen. I am using 23529, with Lioryte BlackLeaf theme. I want to use the Zanix/Lioryte Manila Gothic lockscreen. I run the cab file to install to Device, do a soft reset, and when it comes back up and I hold the right key to lock the screen it is still the original lockscreen. What am I doing wrong?

28230 since posted.

Battery dying much faster than 23102.

Speed seems about the same.

Multiple locks when in sleep mode or after turning on lock screen and leaving for a minute or two (soft reset to resolve).

Have had email close out randomly when opening a message.

Same with Opera beta 10.3.

I'm gonna keep using it for a bit and see if these were just unlucky glitches that we've seen before on previous releases.
