Thanks for the tip but I already have it set to save to Storage Card. Maybe I will try saving it to My Storage or Phone Storage just for a goof.

Nope doesn't matter where i save to, same problem.... I'm waiting for my usb sync cable to come in the mail from Ebay then I will upgrade to a newer version of the ROM. Is there any one version that is known to be the best and most stable and the best on battery life?

I am using 23551 and i can say everything worked as it should after flash (2-3 days ago) and continues too.. NO issues at all with phone functions email,sms, etc. works flawlessly. and no sleep of death. So far battery life seems to be good as far as i can tell, definately no worse than any. I should note also.. the phone simply flies through opening apps as compared to stock and other 23***/28*** roms i've tried..

The only thing that I want that was not IN liorytes rom or post'o cabs is a smoother picture viewer.. the windows one is just plain clunky (but this is not liorytes fault!) just M$'s

btw lioryte, found a cab with menu fix here at modaco , it's only version 2.0 but works great.HTC album 2.0

The ROM comes w/u the widgets engine. You can download it at the same place where you got the widgets. Once installed, if not autoinstalling than once prompted select winwidgets or somethin' like that. Hope it helps

Tried V23551 with TellMe, MS Voice and Office 2010 cooked in

It seems there is a problem with the Title Bar.

Many programs cover the lower menu bar leaving only the Title Bar. There is no X in the top right to close apps or start in the top right (Start Menu)

Is there a way to put the Start Menu and X back into the Title Bar. Also none of the Title Bar programs I install work properly (like Magic Button).

Same version I am running here. that's wierd, i'd try flashing again just for giggles man, i have no issues with programs covering the lower bar with start and X (and softkeys)

As far as changing the controls I wont swear to it but i think that's just a 6.5.x thing.. just the way it is... from what i gather, ofcourse i could be wrong.

i run mobileshell, which is fine most of the time - but certain things like the dialer background are still controlled by the theme, even though titanium isn't running. what do i have to do to be able to customize every aspect of the phone's appearance to my liking? if i were to use Theme Maker X would that let me change everything? how do you create your custom themes?

I am having the same issue. This rom is phenomenal! Fast, and sleek.

I am also having an issue in landscape mode where i can move menus, but they don't keep sliding, they just end up in the same place. And when trying to slide through pictures in landscape, it just stays on the same one. If anyone has any idea of how to approach this issue that would great.

My phone said my Windows Mobile copy expires in such and such days. What do I do? I really don't want to have to re-setup my whole phone again. Please help! I finally got everything the way I want it.

Yes, it has everything except the customizer. The homescreen weather is not perfect, but there is a workaround for that.

I'm using M2D on Lioryte's 23551, works great!

FWIW, I've NEVER had the "sleep of death issue" in any ROMs I've used. I've used several ROMs from several chefs, but mostly from Lioryte and Waremike.

Someone has posted a fix over at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656300. Sounds kind of hairy if you aren't at all comfortable or well versed in what's under the hood in WM, or how to change things.

I have not personally used it, and may just use this as an excuse to flash to a base ROM so I can get rid of a whole bunch of apps I don't use, and probably never will.

Finally, is there a recommended GPS program to use, over another? I see Bing, googlemaps, and amazgps? I tried amazgps but i can't get a gps lock with it - i thought the voice commmands for turn by turn would be neat. Google Maps GPS works for me but doesn't have the voice directions

also, on the Pandora question, i see that others are running it (I assume on the 910 with these cooked ROMs) on either 23529 or 28223.

What's the difference in either of those versus 23551? i don't care which one i use, other than liking TellMe (dictating text messages is great) and other pretty-standard stuff.

I recently tried to update my cities for the weather panel. I went to Open Program files-> Spb Mobile Shell folder and find CitiesDB.dat

- Download the latest database from the link above and replace it with the existing one

I did the above, but the CitiesDb.dat file I downloaded was password protected apparently. I didn't realize this until after I copied it and now my weather does not work. I tried looking on another forum, but did not get any replies. Can anyone tell me the password or where to find it? Or, can someone simply copy this file Open Program files-> Spb Mobile Shell folder and find CitiesDB.dat and post it for me to re-save?

Likewise, using 23518.5.5.0 lite. Is this a 23518 thing that flashing to a newer build will correct? Or have other builds been showing the same thing?

I've been happy with the 23518 build after trying 6 or 7 roms (thanks to all chefs), but if another flash is the way to go, so be it...the fix posted on xda looks scary...

Pandora works for me. If you can't use the keyboard, i think the copy/paste functionality worked for me (it has been awhile since i have had to login).

As for GPS, Amaze has worked great for me. Try getting a lock with google maps first. Once you do, amaze should lock on with no problems. Make sure you have the settings set correctly in amaze for your gps.

I'm a user to whom the phone is a tool, don't have time to make it a hobby even though I enjoy tweaking it.

23518 has been nice and stable on my phone for the past several months, is there an advantage to the later builds?
