Guest monyozt Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 im getting "Searching for Satelite" message after setting it up. any ideas? use AGPS function. its only downloads data less than 10kb and u'll get locked position less than a minute (mine less than 10 seconds)
Guest kohanson Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 im getting "Searching for Satelite" message after setting it up. any ideas? I see your avatar is using i900, i'm not sure if the settings is the same for i8000 and i900.. But if you are using i8000, the settings to get a faster gps lock on is >>>> Go to Settings > General Settings > GPS > XTRA > CLick on Enable extra and download the data and you will get your gps fix faster.
Guest ResiFe Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 By the way, how do I use AGPS on my i8000? (i.e. where can I download the satellite info?)
Guest NuShrike Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Works fine on Acer m900 with built-in SiRFIII, or external bluetooth Qstarz.
