Guest RJP3 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I have the Samsung Omnia II i8000. The tactile feedback stopped working. I no longer feel it when I type, etc. I still feel the phone vibrate when I have it on silent so I know it it working, but I must have messed up a setting or somthing...I have done a softrest, but still not working...Any ideas??? digg_bgcolor = 'transparent'; digg_window = 'new'; digg_url = 'http://www.samsung-omnia.org/index.php?topic=10798.msg59290#msg59290'; digg_title = 'Tactile Feedback - QUESTION'; digg_bodytext = 'I have the Samsung Omnia II i8000. Guest sanyboi Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Hi If you go into settings and then Sound Settings From there go to Touch Alert, then on Alert what does it have set?
Guest emperorben Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Hi RJP3, I had the same problem previously (on G7 rom). I thought it could be due to some software I installed. Eventually, did a hard-reset and got back the haptic feedback. But i recently discovered way better alternative to the default Samsung haptic feedback and it's free!- Touchresponse (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450256). The program works on Omnia 2. I like it becos: a) You can configure the strength of the feedback :) You can enable feedback AFTER the finger leaves a screen and c) You can make it work universally throughout all programs (not just Samsung's) Give it a try!
