Guest Rob Storm Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Is there enough diffrence to change from 23518 test to final ?? :) B) A matter of opinion. The test version was not patched for the timebomb, and a few other tweaks. I'm sure most users will have flashed many times over before it actually expires.
Guest JonathanIF Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Rob, I love this Rom. The one thing that I miss from your prior one's is the slide to unlock feature. Could that be added back in?

I'm not sure. I've cooked it in but since you mentioned it I went and checked my Omnia's as well and no longer have it either. It must be something M$ changed. I will look into it though.
Guest rcicu Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 You really don't need that software. Just go into settings/personal/buttons and scroll at the top to end key and check "lock device" then scroll to wake up and check "When device is woken up, lock device." That is all you need. Let us know if that is does what you intend. --arniep I do have that set but when I am on a call the screen is not locked.
Guest arniep Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Yes...have not had a problem with IE with any of your ROMs thus far. Have you noticed diminished battery life with 28205? Did IE work wekk though on the ROM?
Guest arniep Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Ok...for that, go to settings/personal/phone/services. Scroll down to Dialer Touch Lock and click "change settings" and select the delay you want. Remember you have to press the "camera" hard button on the right side of the phone to enter your changes and get out of that screen. Pressing OK won't do it. Now when you receive a call, the screen will turn off in x seconds (the delay you selected) and the dialer is locked. You press the power button to turn the screen back on, or you can just press the "end" hard button to end the call. Hope that works..Let us know. --arniep I do have that set but when I am on a call the screen is not locked.

Guest Teche Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 I'm using 23518 with Spb over the top with no problems so far. Thanks for the ROM. I really like that Tell Me program, it has all those new droid users around me saying, hmm mine don't do that, lol.
Guest arniep Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Maybe it's too soon to tell, but how is battery consumption on that build? Guest reaver76 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Rob, I installed the cab, but it is still going to the old Lock Screen. I have the same issue. But I can deal with it til an updated ROM comes out. Looking forward to your upcoming releases. Great work! Loving the new outlook!
Guest brnlahaze Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Is there a difference in the 28xxx vs 235xx in the lock screens? I was using a 28xxx branch before and switched to 235xx b/c of the email difference. However, now I am not seeing the individual sliders on the lockscreen for email, calls, text, and voice mail. Is that once of the differences between the two builds?
Guest kdkinc Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) anyone having a battery issue beside me?? ( 23518 test ) I'll due a full charge tonight to make sure its not me. :) I only had my gps on for 10 minutes and browsed for 1/2 hour. No mp3's playing. Guest bluematrix64 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 Rob, Using 23518, shows old 6.1 lock screen but with a blue background instead of a red one like stock. I tried both of your cabs with no luck as well.

Guest arniep Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 I am running v12 ROM and it works great with good battery life. However, I notice that when I "x" out of an app, the app does not close and I have to go to task manager to close it. Does anyone know where the setting is to have apps close when you "x" them or exit them? Thanks! --arniep
