main storage

hi guys,

i have a noob question..pls bear with me

when i install games or apps..i always choose "My Storage" which is the 8gb

when i go to settings>basic settings>memory settings>Main Storage, i can see my installed games and apps under "Programs in storage memory"...does this mean they got installed in "Main Storage"(512mb) and not in "My Storage"?

i feel like my free memory in "Main Storage" decreases everytime I install something.

can anyone enlighten me on this...thanks guys
