Copy and Paste portions of an SMS & viewing multiple SMS sent receipients

Hey guys can anyone please help me out with these two issues

1. I cant seem to copy certain portions of my SMS (cant highlight the particular sentance or info) to extract certain information. Every time I try to it highlight something it just assumes I am making a sweeping stroke to see another msg. I could very easily do this with the old Omnia I had. To work around this I use TouchPal and have to forward a particular msg to enter it and highlight it. It is very tedious and just does not make sense.

2. I recently sent out festive greetings to numerous peole in my phonebook and along the way I lost count on who I sent the messages to and who I forgot. I tried to look at the sent items folder and realised that if I can only see the first receipient I sent the msg to. I cant find any details tab or anything like that that tells me who else i sent it to.

Can somebody please help me with this. I suspect its an UI issue but am a noob in these things and would appreciate any advice. Many thanks.
