HSDPA 850

Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to enable the 850 frequency for HSDPA. The device has 900 / 1900 / 2100 right now but for most areas of the US and Canada in particular we seem to be locked into EDGE only.

isnt that limited to hardware? i mean it has to have the attena to pick up the 850 band.

is u use that bad for 3g, be prepare.

for the past two months, when i use "auto" in network selection, YES it has 3g when i go on the net, but whenever there is incoming phone call, it drops, then the phone will switch off by itself (phone mode OFF), then u will have to go to settings and switch it back on.

now i give up, im not using 3g... cause im tired of switching it all the time. just keep on using Edge, and then my regular phone usage is fine.

yes it does... its hardware for getting the 850 hsdpa you must to buy the I8000L version...
