Guest WidowmakerNZ Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Hi guys, I am really interested to buy an Omina 2, but am hesitant after hearing all the memory problems with the original Omnia. I want to be able to install a number of applications from Skyscape (they are windows mobile apps), but have heard from people with the original omnia that you can only install 1-2 before the memory fills up. Does the same problem of not being able to put them in your storage exist with the Omnia 2, because if it does I dont think I will be able to use the phone as I am reliant on about 10 skyscape apps for my work and need them. Thanks for your help
Guest The PeaceMakeR Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 so far the only application that installed in main was the .net framework. pretty much all applications offer you the choice on where to install (main, my storage, storage card) I don't know about those Skyscape applications, but I don't think it should be a problem.

Yes it does, i have tryed several times to install different applications and they are always put in Main Storage even i click My starage in the instalation sequence. Not sure if it is a firmware issue but i am using G7 english version.
Guest TheBishop Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Part of any installation will always go to that storage. If you look at the size oth the files though you'll see they're very small. It's like installing a program on your PC to the D Drive. There's always a little bit that'll be on your C Drive to tell it where to get the rest from. Not had a problem with programs installing on the Omnia 2 and I've had a few PPC's before so I've got some idea.
