Sync birthday from HERO to Google

Hello, could somebody provide me name of the program that could update Birthday and Anniversary date from my Hero (powered by Modaco 2.3) to Gmail contact list. I need to have in Gmail birthday and anniversary, not in field for note I need in field for Birthday and etc.

I know only one program EboBirthday, but it doesn’t want to update Gmail contact list. So please don't advise it to me.

If your contacts are synced to your google contacts doesn't the 'birthday' field get automatically updated??

I know it looks strange, but NOT. I received all contacts on Hero from Google account, but all of them were without any Birthday. At the same time I could see it in Gmail contact list or in Google Calendar. But if I’m would like to check when this contact has birthday, I need to login in Gmail from web and check it.

Yeah you're right actually.

I just checked one of my google contacts who has a birthday set, but when looking on the Hero, they have no birthday in their contact information!

Strange...

Any ideas anyone?

As you know, google added birthday column to google contacts "recently", so thats probably this column isn't syncing, it doesn't work both ways, if you add birthday via web interface it wont get synced on your phone and also if u add birthday on your phone it wont get synced to google contacts

however, if you add birthday via web interface, you can "sync" them with your google calendar

1. Go to google calendar via web interface, click settings > calendars

2. Click on "Browse interesting calendars" > more

3. Look for "Contacts' birthdays and events" and click Subscribe

this will add an other calendar "on top" of your main calendar, and this calendar will sync with your phone (you get birthday events of your contacts inside google calendar), remember its gonna take some time till this gets synced, but it works

I know its not much, but you get some of the birthday-calendar functionality

in mean time you can add star here

I know it, but I would like to found decision how to update birthday field in contact list of Hero and Gmail
