Guest Slappa Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Make sure you uninstall ANYTHING SPB MS related; widget packs, themes, etc, and uninstall MS3.01 first. Then soft reset and install ONLY MS3.5, and you shouldn't have any problems. Is there any way of saving settings etc that have been put into SPB 3.0 if we do that?
Guest necosino Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Go to settings - Mobile Shell - Right menu button - Save Settings. Then install MS3.5, and go to the same menu, and load settings :)

Guest sid0101 Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 someone is onto something for the Omnia II so that 3d acceleration works properly: http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php...asc&start=0 i wonder if it can be ported to our Omnias i9xx...?
Guest Music Four Four Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 make sure you have your email and text/mms as a single widget then tap and hold the widget and choose default action that should work for ya Tested. Works on my Omnia i900. Pretty cool 3D SMS viewer.
Guest DJRedLine Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Same here ! Anyone got a fix?? Works fine for Emails, just not SMS :) - and I really like this feature Clicking on the reply button tries to load the message but then crashes, if i click on the actual message it opens up fine and i can reply to it.
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Same here. I'm liking 3.5 so far! Maybe even preferable to M2D. (apart from the cost of course!)
Guest DeeinSouthAfrica Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 MS 3.5 seems to be hard on the battery. I went from 100% to 50% in the space of a day, whereas I used to get to 80% by nightfall. It also freezes a lot requiring a reset. I have uninstalled and used a liberal application of MemMaid before reinstalling and so far it seems much better. Early days, we'll see.
Guest DeeinSouthAfrica Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) My Battery use is completely horrible. Went from 100% power to 70% overnight, and I was asleep! It may be fancy-fancy but I can't use it. I have to go back to 3.0.1. :) Edited October 3, 2009 by DeeinSouthAfrica
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 My battery seems noticably BETTER?!?!
Guest ratsbane Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) My battery seems noticably BETTER?!?! think mine too... fully charged thursday morning, now have 60% remaining power after few calls, several sms'es and listening 3-4hrs of music and playing azgard defense - which really drains the battery. however I'm turning off antena for every night but did also using spb 3.0. Edited October 3, 2009 by ratsbane
Guest DeeinSouthAfrica Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 To each their own. I now have 3.0.1 with Mskip Pro Plus added and am as happy as a clam. Enjoy!
Guest daz306td Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) Anyone got a fix for the new SMS menu? Oddily I notice if I click the message I can reply, but if I click the reply button it doesnt work Edited October 13, 2009 by daz306td
Guest DeeinSouthAfrica Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 I find the new fancy SMS menu irritating and prefer the old one so sorry, can't help you much. One thing our Russian friends have gotten right is the battery drain. Version 3.5.1 build 9687 seems to be much better - I still have 80% battery power at 10pm and that's after a hard day's use of phone calls, texting and Media Playing. Now if only they could fix the lack of personalized ring-tines I would be very happy indeed. Oh sure, PhoneEx handles my Boss's creepy Halloween ring tone but still it would be nice if SPB would.

Guest nmayer79 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 One of the custom roms i flashed had spb ms on it and i really loved it, considering buying the program.

To make MS 3.5.1 work properly it is recommended that you completely uninstall the old one and soft reset your Omnia. Then you run the new version.
