Hi All,

Thanks to Sorg for the time he spent.

I jsut fininshed installation. Running smooth.
This version is WM 6.5 with samsung stuff.

After installed -
Mian storage 93.93MB free
Program ram 58.97MG free

Very laggy with samsung stuff. Need to turn off samsung stuff
But no complaint. Happy with WM 6.5

Suggestion: WM 6.5 without samsung stuff will be the best. Can free up some memory also.

Wish list: Clean WM 6.5 with Touch FLo 3D

cubic37.mli doesn't include backup of phone part. So, i have no II9 version of phone.

But you can use IJ1 version of phone from ROM uploaded by secany. That's also official Samsung version.

If your phone part works ok, then i don't recommend to touch it. If new phone ROM will have block against downgrading and newer version will work worse than older, then you won't able to roll back.

So, think twice before updating phone part.

Thanks again, sorg, for your kindness. I thought the cube37.mli has only nb0 but it's great to learn that you can extract csc from it as well. After flashing to WM 6.5, my i8000 lost my native language and I cannot extract csc from the backup mli. It would be nice if you can suggest links to learn how to extract the mli. Thanks.

That's what I did, just pda and csc (actually I used secany ROM, but still I didn't flask Phone part and Eboot becouse Sorg suggested that the only problems that may happen to your phone while flashing comes only from Eboot and Phone parts while pda and csc is 100% safe)

there is no CSC in cubic37.mli.

I've took simplified version of CSC (without amy operator specific tweaks) from multiCSC file of IJ1. I've just corrected version number.

You may use almost eny CSC file from any version. IJ1 provides a lot of CSC choise.

CSC doesn't contain language files. It only contains list of allowed languages to choose. Language Packs are on nb0 files. CSC file won't give you any additional language not existing in nb0.

CSC usually contains some registry tweaks, logos, splashes customized to specific operator(s).

If somebody want to change country/operator then you can simple start following command:

\windows\precfg.exe -START

or unpack attached shortcut to your device and run.

It will give you choice of countries and operators you may pre-set on your device.

CAUTION: After apply it will hard-reset your device!

Although i'm using my own customized ROM, i'm not ready to release it to public yet. This device is very new and need a lot things to explore/tweak.

I personally remove only widget plus crap, but i like how samsung rewrote most of traditional apps to make them finger frendly. Standard windows apps look very ugly and unconvenient after samsung's.

At the same time, samsund didn't delete standard apps. You just need to re-create shortcuts to them if you really like to use thos ugly apps :)

Which CSC did you use from IJ1? how to recognise a CSC without any operator tweaks?

Thanks, sorg. I still have some questions:

1. You said language files are in the nb0 not CSC. Can we flash only nb0 file (without CSC) and what language will the ROM be?

2. You said in previous thread that we can remove the TFAT32 part from the nb0. Do you mean just simply delete the ROM part after OS? Why can that nb0 be used to flash if there is no language files in?

Hello Sorg,

Have you the correct kitchen tools? I can extract a bit of the rom with the IMGFS tools but I think the most is encrypted.

Please advice.
