Problem w/ WM 6.5 & Nav n IGO 8

Is anybody running this gps software on 6.5. It will not load for some reason. It worked fine on 6.1.

work fine for me on 6.5 on my i8000, as before on my i900

you mean you tried it on your i8000 with winmo 6.1, or on another device with winmo 6.1?

i mean, has it ever worked on your i8000?

be aware that running igo on i8000 is not straight forward because of the resolution, you may have to tweak some settings, depending on your igo version.

i personnally use 8.3

amigo (8.4) also runs fine

sometime igo(or the phone to be honest) will not able to receive gps signal. I personally think the phone's memory was dirty due to the apps i was using, somehow the memory was not clean up properly..I just rebooted my i8k..and Igo8 works like a gem..:)

Maybe you can try this...

On your iGo setting, setup the GPS Baud rate to automatic.

It works for me after I tried this. Good luck

altho I have an i900 .. I noticed it took a good 20-30 minutes for it to start for the first time

its very quick after that - starts up in 30-40 seconds

Does anybody use TTs voice? It worked on i900 but not on i8000 for me.
